i started 3 days ago IV'ing hydromorphine. my veigns are very deep, even in hospital nurses have problem finding them, and they bruise easily.

result: along 3 days, out of around 7 tries, 4 hit the spot. arms completly bruised, two of them bruised plus alot red inside even from successful injections. i tried wrist ones (the only ones visible), worked 1st time, now i didn't another bruise forming

so basically what do i do? waste of drugs, arms of a junkie from 3 days. should i change spot and start injecting in groin, or something i heard of under skin injection?

thx

Perhaps the easiest option is to give up the IVing ghost, since if your veins are causing you problems now they're gonna only cause more problems further down the line when they start to hide and collapse and make it 100x more difficult to hit any veins at all.

Since you're new to it, it ought to be fairly easy to quit. Have you considered plugging as an alternative? Plugging can get quite rushy at times without needing to IV.

Don't move to the groin. Are you doing it right? Have you read the guides on here?

I have veins exactly like yours, deep, hard to find, hard to eat, easy to bruise up. I used to hit the backs of my hands quite a lot. Really, you can do it, you just need to start using more carefully, and get into the groove of hitting a spot. Does a tourniquet help at all?

And it's true, it does get harder to find places to shoot. But I'm not doing it frequently anymore, at least.

dont want to lose the bioavailability... love to IV

i'm doing it right ye. back of hands hum.. i'm afraid to hit arteries seems its hard to tell them apart from veigns. i'll go buy a proper tourniquet tried with belt didn't work. only makes it harder my nerves make me shake alot when IV'ing

Honestly, my hands were easy, and bruised less than elsewhere, and there were two really usable veins in both hands.

Belts suck. You know what I like to use? A robe tie. I keep it clean, but it just works better than a real tourniquet for me. I tie it one side, lightly-to-moderately, and on the other side of my arm, same strength, and voila, they rise. Unless I've used too much, too long.

Read the top quote from you, then this one. How can you say you love to IV after 3 days of that?

IV hydromorphone is only good for the rush really, so most people end up doing so many shots a day. I don't see that working out for you given your track record (no pun). You could always sniff it and get close to 60% of the drug, plus it lasts a lot longer than IV.

The only thing I can recommend for helping with IV is to use the vacuum method, where you pull back on the plunger once the tip of the needle breaks the skin, which will create a vacuum bubble that will automatically fill with blood once you are in a vein. This way you don't have to keep pulling back on the plunger with shakey hands trying to register. Also, don't try to hit the groin. The femoral vein and artey are literally right next to eachother, and you don't want to hit an artery when IVing.

yeah it's the rush and also knowing i'm getting 100% bioavailability from the drug peacepipechief. also tommy i got hydromorphine capsules, so i crush the balls the get the stuff out. if i snort ima be snorting all the wax and shit that comes along the balls.

what IM'ing it? heard also bioavailability is around 60%. CURSE GOD FOR MY SHITTY VEINS.

^^^Very bad idea, especially with Hydromorph Contin

If he can IV it there's absolutely no reason he can't IM it, assuming he's using a micron filter (and if he isn't, he really shouldn't be IVing either).

IM has the same BA as IV, it just takes longer to kick in, spread out over 5 or 10 minutes instead of an instant rush. It's the best alternative to IV by far, and it means you don't have to fuck around with veins. I do it quite a bit these days because, like OP, I have deep, thin veins and they've only gotten worse.

thx crankinit i'll consider it.

and so ended my stash and my IV career, with a shamefull attempt of around 15 tries to hit a vein and failing it. my arms and hands are bruised, swolen and red. as time went by on these 4 days the bruising etc made it even harder to IV. so i guess i can IV occasionally but will rely on IM if the BA really is the same. i'll miss the rushes tho :(

just make more money. come on, even if the other ROA's BA is 50% or whatever, unless you're a full on junkie you can afford that, and full on junkie's don't have computers.

what's ROA? well i'm a student, and even if i have more money drugs are expensive. and i really like the rush of IV :[

Yeah, I don't know if you're fat... but fat people have a really hard time seeing their veins. Working out helps.. the leaner you are with the least amount of body fat, the more your veins will protrude.

i'm thin. but interesting, it turns into motivation for hitting the gym which i lack sometimes. ;D

I agree that neither IV or IM should be done without a micron filter, but if they don't have one then IMing is more dangerous that IV in terms of abscesses and the like. I just wanted to reiterate that micron filters are a must if you intend to IM. If you only have cotton filters then IVing is actually safer than IMing in terms of complications.
