I have been taking Oxycontin for 10 Years now! Recently it has been reformulated due to Abuse of the medication! I was helped in the past by these med's! Now for it being reformulated into Oxycontin's newly TR tablet it has destroyed Oxycontin's ability to control my pain!
It is a sad world when people who are using the medication correctly get that benefit taken away from them. Due to the few & or should I say the growing abundance of users that use the medication for a high or party drug! Just alike everything in the past of all human existence all it takes is a few people to start some BAD trend to ruin things for the mass of population that rely on something particularly for the correct reasons! As everything in Humanity’s past Alike; Weapons, Speeding, traffic,& law's in general were made due to the growing # of people who hurt, misuse or destroy ANY/ALL Certain privileges other may justifying rely on for help through the use of!
After going over this sight’s threads on Oxycontin’s/Oxycodone TR links.
The reason for the OXYCONTIN Manufactures change in formula became OBVIOUSLY APARENT!
It TRULEY AMAZED ME the amount of people that had spent so much time with an intent of TRYING to re-convert OP back to a OC form!
One other Blue light account user said exactly what I was thinking! >> That this was SAD! )
People this is a sickness! I know a majority of you know better than this! Every action in our universe has an = and opposite reaction!
Over a long period of time doing this to yourself by the abuse of any available OXY forms,
There will be repercussions. If you are using OXY to get high your body will punish you when you come down from that! Is the negative feeling of withdrawal for 6 months straight of worth the constant chasing of the 1-2 Hr + feeling you get from abusing it?
Or even how much time you waste trying to chase that dragon? (( I PERSONALLY THINK NOT &, IF YOU ARE HONEST WITH YOURSELF first & foremost; YOU WOULD REAOLIZE YOU ARE wasting a large part of the time in YOUR life! ))
If you all are trying to get high there are plenty of street drugs out there for you all to use! These direct actions of misuse by the majority of these people are directly related to why Oxycontin’s/Oxycodone were changed to the new OP's version!
Personally now that this medication does not work for me I need to find one that will because of other users B.S.! After I got my new script & after days of being still in severe constant pain, it took me a moment to realize what had happened! At first I was mad due to my pain’s being out of control! But after investigation into what was going on & seeing what people were talking about online & trying to do, I realized that this was a move in the correct direction by the manufacturer!
I truly do know one thing If the medication you are buying is a lot of = $_ _ _ _._ _
But now it does not work to control your pain, WHY CONTINUE TO BUY IT?
The whole thing does not make sense! I will not continue to pay for something that no longer helps me! And anyone that is back again looking for a new pain reliever due to this, I suggest you do the same!
Not that the following would happen but, you never know & I have learned never to say NEVER!
The only way this medication will ever be, OR even for it to EVEN EVER BE CONSIDERED TO BE Changed back to the old formula is; IF A DRASTICALLY LARGE % of the population of users that were helped by this medication,> STOP BUYING IT!
I know since it no longer helps my pain I am done with Oxycontin’s &, MOVING ON!
That is to something that works to control my pain & that is no longer Oxycontin’s/Oxycodone!
I guess I should be thanking all the people who abuse this medication instead of being upset with them! THANK YOU, YOU ALL HAVE HELPED ME TO DO SOMETHING I WANTED TO DO FOR A VERY LONG, LONG TIME! That is to get off Oxycontin’s! There changing of the formula was directly connected to abuse of Oxycontin’s. To a newer TR / formula that no longer personally helps my pain which in-turn lead me to draw the only plausible conclusion!
Thank you for reading this & for OTHERS TRYLEY in pain, Just keep looking there are people who care about you & will help you to find a suitable replacement pain management regimen!
