I am a disabled combat veteran. On 75mg fentanyl patch with 5 mg vicodin backup. Always manage to run out
F fentanyl 10 days early. The vicodin are like nothin. So at least none of it costs money for me but I sure wish I could do better to make it last.

The grave yards are full of people who thought they were irreplaceable

Recently I have found a better way to make fentanyl last

I have the feeling I am screwing up my authorized post...sorry if this is so. I use to be smarter...no kidding. I got blown up in combat...the bad is you really loose some brain power...the good is they pay you and provide meds. Even a psych ward you can check into for free. But it's sad too...to paranoid to meet people or make friends.

I was a physician who treated chronic pain. Quit and went into another profession. I wound up with a chronic pain problem last year and ran up against physicians who treated me the way I treated my patients. (Talk about karma.) First, I doubted their pain was as severe as they said it was. Second I was paranoid of the state board. As a result, I now know that my patients (and now myself) are not being treated humanely by most physicians. The documentation required by the state boards has only gotten worse with computers checking every prescription you write. Addiction is one thing, living with reduced, tolerable pain is another issue. I'm not nearly as bad off as you but the consequences of most chronic pain patients remains dire and I don't see a reasonable end coming. Legalized medical marijuana may be helpful for some patients but not all. It does offer an alternative though that should be accepted and endorsed by the medical profession.

Hi, I'm new on here too. Thank u for ur service.
Very familiar with pain meds. Is the Fentanyl making u paranoid or was the paranoia there before the meds?
