I am new to smoking weed, and have a couple of question. I have smoked twice now, with my girlfriend who is much more experienced. Both times she got a nice high off of 3-4 hits. She says we have good quality chronic, so bad weed isn't the problem here.
The first time I tried it I didn't have much success, but that was to be expected. The second time, this is what I felt:
Fuzzy head, numbness all over, bad coordination when standing up, really bloodshot eyes, extreme dry mouth, unable to concentrate, very sleepy, cold, a weird sort of nervous edginess, and my legs wouldn't stop shaking.
Here's what I did not feel:
Euphoria, things being funnier, being more talkative, any psychedelic or hallucinogenic effects, getting hungry.
I probably did 8 hits the second time.
So, one part of me thinks that yeah, I was high, but why didn't I get to experience any of the good stuff? My girlfriend sure did. She isn't normally talkative, but she was talking a lot, laughing at unfunny stuff, and said she felt like she was melting into the couch. So, clearly she was high.
Was I high? Is this a common thing for new smokers to get some of the effects of weed but not the really good stuff?
Is it possible that I smoked too much, too fast, and went right past the euphoria part and got stoned?
Has anyone had a similar experience?
Any advice, help, you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
