Hiya,

Would you like to tell us a bit more about you, your interest in which substance etc so to "break the ice." How are you at navigating the site?
Have you checked out the rules known as BLUA (Bluelight User Agreement), Greenlighter Agreement and the stickies. Seems like a lot of reading but really it's just helpful stuff in learning more about the site and helping you settle in. For instance, there is a sticky, titled "The Adoption Programme," this is where Bluelighters "adopt" (befriend) Greenlighters (new members) in order to help them navigate the site, ask questions and so forth. Just makes people feel more welcome.

Anyway - welcome to Bluelight - and I hope you enjoy your experience here!
