New to testing

I've just decided not to eat any more pills until my testing kit arrives (ordered a couple of days ago so not too long now)!
My only real question is will the kit tell you if the pill has anything dangerous in it, or do you work on the assumption that if a pill has an MD** active ingredient then it will contain nothing dodgy?
I mean fair enough who's going to put anything dangerous in a pill if its already got MD** - Does anyone hate our drug culture that much??!!

DXM + MDMA is a bad mix
4-MA (PMA) is causing deaths
methamphetamine is hard on the body
and the list goes on.. these are all substances found in pills..

Sorry if I didn't explain myself very clearly, I was quite stoned when I posted this.
Basically I'm no scientist or doctor, and I'm fairly new to pills (only a few months) - if all the test tells me is what chemicals a pill has in it how do I know what a bad mix is? - and how dangerous ingesting this mix will be. I mean you've just told me that MDMA & DXM is a bad mix, right - but dosn't both MDMA & DXM turn the EZ-Test Black? - how do I distinguish a pill containing DXM & MDMA from a pill solely containing MDMA, is it just the speed of the reaction? we are just talking about a few second here right?
 
I've had my testing kit for a while now. If you you ordered just the drops it will turn black/purple for MDMA, Red for speed or other amphetamines, and Green for 2-CB, but it wont tell you anythong else.
 
Actually, to clarify, the Marquis reagent (which is the testing solution we are all talking about here) will turn MDxx (that is, MDMA, MDA, MDE etc) a lightish to dark purple (hopefully the latter!

DXM will turn the solution very black and will smoke...this is quite a different reaction and is easily spotted.
