New to Oakland CA

Hey,

I just moved out to Oakland/Bay Area, CA, and kind of wanted to see what was up with the area. I don't really know what to say more than that lol. I heard this place was dangerous but seems very nice to me, lake merrit and downtown and so on. Anyways, meet up or not, just interested in knowing more about where I live.

ps. i'm not interested in sources or anything like that (seriously).

I don't live out there myself but want to move there one day. I've visited once and think about it all of the time. I loved being there!

I live in sf and looooove it. Don't spend much time Oakland but know lots of folks that love it there. Enjoy the Bay Area, there's so much to do here.
