New to memphis area

Hey dude, I'm about an hour and a half away from Memphis but recently moved to where I'm at. I'm in the same situation. I haven't been to Memphis yet but plan on hitting up quite a few concerts there this fall. We'll definitely have to meet up at some point man. How's Memphis?

I must first of all reiterate what swerlz had to say-not just to LDS as a precaution,but to you x20 since this is your intro thread. If you have lurked about the site you may have noticed that Bluelight is 1st and foremost A Harm Reduction site,however the strong community that thrives here may give new members the false sense of security in sharing personal information in public posts. Remember,on the internet,people can be whomever they want-not necessarily who they are. So take some time getting to know the site and the amazing ppl that keep this site going. There are amazing ppl here-all the Mods,Smods and Admins are an incredible group of people who put blood,sweat,tears and time into insuring that Bluelight runs like clockwork. Not to say that you won't make life long friends and eventually make plans to meet(which i suggest be in a small group-at least-for the first time.)in person. I say this bc I have seen this alot-ppl joining looking to meet others in or near their area. Trust me,I understand this desire bc I am in a situation where my friends are here on BL-the friends I have IRL are less than 5,due to my physical situation and my downward spiral into isolation. I speak of this from experience-ppl I have met who live very close to me but they quickly revealed themselves as false and I learned to take my time getting to know quality-REAL people.

Back to the welcome part...x20-tell us more about yourself. What brings you to Bluelight? What substances interest you or on your lists of fav's. Anything particular you hope to research or learn more about. give us a little more info so we can help point you in the right direction. P.S. LSD-I meant no disrespect to your post here. I only try and spread the word that danger lurks in places sometimes unseen to us. I've seen you around a good bit and know you are a regular-just be careful whom you trust w/ private info and who share theirs w/ you. this is nothing against x20-just want you both to know to use your instinct and always keep a bit of a guard up....sorry-I only meant to reiterate what swerlz said but as you will notice-I am one of the "long as shit" members to post on Bl.It's the curse of being a writer juxtaposed with my passion for this site. hope to see you round too.

Though I live in hail from the great land of Florida, I've been living and going to school in Memphis for the last 8 years. Its an interesting city, lots of hipsters and ghetto.
