Hello there,

2) Photophobia from Fluorescent lights.
3) Hyper Awareness.
4) Feeling of Unreality ( like i'm always high on weed)
5) halos on streetlights, and starbursts of LED and lights which are far away.
6) headaches from time to time.
7) tendency to stare at things.
8] world looks like its in layers. (derealization i believe)
9) Double vision

Drugs Taken:

1) alcohol
2) marijuana

never done LSD, Mushrooms, MDMA etc.

what does this sound like, Derealization ? HPPD ?
thanks :)

how would you describe your consumption of 1.alcohol , 2.mary jane. so how much and for how long

have you self diagnosed on websites to get these possible outcomes?

do you feel you need to be labelled? some people do some don't . so many clinical labels these days share many of the same traits/tendency's it can truly be quite difficult with a lengthy process to get an firm diagnosis also you will find drs could be bias to what direction they have researched and studied the most. some drs are even scared to label people.

i drink alcohol at social occasions, beer mostly.
and i had started smoking weed from april 2014, around 2 sessions per week. but have stopped since june, coz i got these symptoms from the last time i smoked.

now, i have been to a psychiatrist, he says that it's just anxiety, and nothing else. but i doubt it coz i know what i feel and oh boy, this is definitely something else other than general anxiety. and i firmly believe that this was brought on by smoking maryjane.

therefore, for the need of diagnosis, i went to the internet forums, shared my symptoms there, and some say that it's Depersonalization or Derealization or Both, some say migraines, etc and mostly everyone has denied of HPPD, since i have no prior history of strong hallucinogen use. (like LSD, shrooms etc.) i am still not sure what exactly i'm suffering from.

what u said is absolutely correct, that with doctors nowadays, getting a spot on diagnosis is a lengthy process, but i feel i do need to get labeled, so that i can at least know that this is what i'm suffering from, and prepare myself accordingly.

thanks :)
