Hey guys. First off, I would love to thank Bluelight for the help they've given me in the past. I've decided to become a member, because I truly believe you guys can help me do what I need to do to get to where I need to be. First off, I'm 22 y/o, have my Bachelor's Degree, and have a great girlfriend and a wonderful family. Unfortunately, I've been on Opiates for around 6 years. My addiction started with a half of an OC 40 which was the first substance I ever abused, even before Marijuana, vicodin, etc. I took a different route than most people who work there way up, I started with O.C.s. Soon after I got into vicodin, morphine, fentanyl, really any prescription drug I could find. My addiction took a nasty turn in my first two years of college. I was already bad by this point, but had a connection for obtaining mass quantities of Vicodin, upwards of 1000 per week. Towards the end of this run, I was consuming 10 1000mg Vicodin at a time, 40-50 per day. This soon stopped. After this I got into Fentanyl Patches, where I ended up smoking 2-4 per day when accessible. My tolerance is out of this world unfortunately, and I'm a fairly smaller man, 5'6, 150lbs. I started getting exhausted, and tired of living this lifestyle, and my drugs of choice became unaccessible. So I turned to Suboxone. I use them whenever possible, occassionally abusing them. As of late however, I no longer have the want to abuse them. I love the feeling off of any opiates, but I just want to feel "normal" again. I want to be able to feel "high" off of life, w/o having to be on a substance. I am looking to join a Suboxone program, and I wondered if anyone has any information to proper steps helping me to do so. I'm on the verge of losing my girlfriend, my friends, my family, letting my 4 year degree go to waste, and much more. I need this, so any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

If you live any close to any metropolitan area, you should have no problem finding a Suboxone doctor. Go to www.suboxone.com and put in your zip code to find a doctor in your area who prescribes it.

My experience with suboxone doctors is that they are almost too willing to write you a script, even if you aren't in agony. It's almost as if they are suboxone dealers.

There is a huge catch though, and that is that the first visit usually costs $300 and you gotta pay cash in a lot of circumstances (really does sound like a dealer, doesn't it?)

For someone with your tolerance, you might want to consider going on Methadone before Suboxone, as it is a lot cheaper and also may be better for someone with a high tolerance, but maybe not, you might love suboxone for what it does for you.

Methadone is a major beaurocratic headache and you have to make daily trips to a clinic to get your dose, and stand in line with other opiate addicts, many of whom are former street heroin users.

Weigh your options.

Good luck and best of luck!
