Hi. I'm 31F. i have two small children. i have dealt with Chronic Pain from many disorders, injuries and illnesses for over 15yrs. All I want from life is to enjoy it. I don't expect to be painfree bc at this point, I believe that's impossible. Maybe I just havent found the right doctors, drugs or drug combinations over the years. I'm kind of tired of trying after 50+ doctors and almost as many diagnosis.
I need to get my meds straight. I do smoke pot, but can't get high grade often b/c it's not legal here. It does help some with my pain and anxiety. I'm prescribed percocet 5/325 every 4-6 hrs, marinol 10mg twice daily(legal where i live only in pill form), ativan 1mg twice daily, zanaflex 4mg 3/twice daily, flexeril 10mg at bedtime, restoril 30mg at bedtime and i'm sure i've left some out. i also take a bunch of longterm abx for chronic lyme disease. I have degenerative disc disease, ruptured L4L5, osteo arthritis, oseoperosis, fibromyalgia(unsure if this is just a cover all diag), chronic fatigue, EBV, chronic lyme disease, bartonella, babesia, mycoplasma, have had a collapsed lung and lung surgery and lots of other stuff that may or may not be helpful. IDK. I just dont want to hurt anymore and cant find that 'happy' medium.
I came accross this site while doing some research on Fentanyl, which is one drug i haven't tried yet but am prescribed. While reading, i found that there are less judgemental ppl here than any other site. Yes, there's an ahole in every bunch that tries to ruin it for everyone, but i found less here...
Anyone out there feel like talking to a newby?? Hope So!
