New to BL from NYC.

whats happening in the city that never sleeps?? Hello to all fellow bluelighters.how are we all
--hows the ukraine levictus?? Whats the scene like there...and wheres orangeclock gone?? Anybody doing anything interesting??
 
im on 72,power nap about 15 hrs ago.(nothing to be proud off) Then 10 hr day at work.feeling good tho...but things are starting to get interesting..more from lack of sleep than chemical enhancement..
Whats your scene?? I always come to BL when im burning the midnight oil..good fun,good people

I've tried K only a few times. This girl gave me a few bumps in some NYC club, I don't remember which one. All I remember of the trip was that a few minutes after I did the bumps, I started not really caring about what anyone was saying. I was hearing the conversations around me and I wanted to join one but I couldn't think of anything worth saying. Everything was meaningless, pointless. I was totally disaffected. It was just a wee bit scary.

Anyway, is that a K-hole? It felt like I was trapped in some kind of hole.

That reminds me of one of the first time I tried K. I was also in a NYC club. I was with my best friend at the time, we were just sitting down, grooving a bit. She asked me, if I could get her a drink from the bar. I said yes, and I made my way to what I thought was one of the bars. IT was actually where on of the DJ's was spinning. But, because of the K, I just couldn't decipher where I walking up to. I actually tried to order a round of drinks from the DJ. Considering the reputation of the club, I'm sure it's not the worse thing that happened. But, I sure did feel like an ass.... I never been in a K hole. But, I'm in a another world on it. I use to say, I felt like I was driving in a Jetson's car, when I was ridding on it...

I LOVE NEW YORK! i have only been once-92/93 i was in high school. i did not sleep the whole time i was there. man the energy. i wanted to be at ground zero fro the 5 year anniversary-my bday is 9/11 and my 30th was the 5yr anniv. SO-this year makes 10years since the towers were hit and it will be my 35th bday and I REALLY WANT TO BE THERE! keep your fingers crossed for me.

i like your user name...part of my art biz is called "digital orange studios". i weird,but fun.

Anyway, K was definately for me an otherworldly experience. I remember the bouncer in the club I was in coming over and shaking me by the shoulder as if he knew I was fucked up. As if in all the years he's been a bouncer, he could sniff out guys like me.

I think the DJ was use to things like that happening. Afterall, it was the tunnel. And the tunnel was legendary.

I agree The DJ's know who's usually doing what. After fights, party favors are what the look to break up. But, then there are some clubs that allow it.... I'm
suddenly getting the urge to do some K again
 
I just joined BL. (Another New Yorker)

I found BL while researching mirtazapine's effect on interfering with psychedelic responsiveness.
I'll be in NYC on Friday. I'd love to spend some time with anyone reading this in the area. We could get some lunch and do some exploring. There are so many things to do/places to see here.
 
I think it will be a real busy time in NYC this September. If you have the time, you should defitnely go.

I came up with the name from Clock Work Orange. I like the way Orangeclock sounds.
 
Well, I wasn't at the clubs at the height of the ClubKid era, I was in Jr.High for that... But, I started going to LimeLight and Tunnel when I was 17. I preferred Tunnel, but I remember Sunday and Wednesday nights at LimeLight. I was also really into The Bank (on Essex). I heard that the LimeLight is a shopping place now, I don't even want to see it... The Tunnel also turned into something..........
 
Disco 2000 on Wednesday's..... Yes!!!!!!! I remember everything about the tunnel. I use to live the Pyscedelic room @!Tunnel, it defitnely was great for the mood. And, I really loved Twilo too. I was sooo into partying at the tine, and all three of thoose clubs really encoraged it... I remember people being so open about it..... I unfortnately haven't been out like that in a long long time. I mainly go to pubs now.
 
Hey, I just noticed your Friend Request. I remember going to Body and Soul (Vinyl) long ago... I don't think I ever went to NASA, but I remember them... I like BLulight alot, but there are alot of rules, so I'm trying to get fimliar with all of them... What is your DOC? How long have you been in NYC?

Pretty much I have the same story. I've lived in NYC for most of my life. I did move around for a couple of years, but I always returned to NYC. I don't remember the last party I went to. I've been doing the bar scene more lately. I just don't feel it's the same anymore. I realize the Limelight and Tunnel were a long time ago, but I also use to like the Mother Fu**er parties, and BYTE parties, and that's also in the past...........
