New to BL and using-I have questions

So I recently started smoking meth (for 3 months now) I've dabbled with it a few times before over the last couple years, liked it but never had a hook up so didn't really bother to go out searching. But things have recently started to look up so now I have a new favorite hobby!
So first question is what does smurf dope mean? I went on a sudden road trip to Tahoe during the early stage of 2 week binge and didn't bring any supplies being overly paranoid to travel with parafenlia and get busted-not because ya know.. Jail.. But just because I'm some what embarrassed of any one finding out and being judged LOL more paranoia..! So any ways led me on a quest from 1am - noon the next day in a place hourssss away from home trying to score but finally succeeded and it was totally worth the wait! Blue shards sent me into the craziest following week (which is a story for next time)! So finally got back home and telling a friend about finding blue shit like on some breaking bad level shit haha and they weren't impressed and referred to it as 'smurf' dope. And me not wanting to look like the noob I am didn't ask what that exactly meant and the term has been driving me nuts!

Smurf dope - because it is 'Blue' (like a smurf)

There is an old thread here that talks about it. Some people say it is down to the precursors used resulting in an different color finished product - others say it is simply a die to impress or as a marketing tool etc.

The other thing that may be associated with this is some drug makers use people to go from store to store buying precursors (as you cannot buy a large amount in one go) - this act was tagged as 'smurfing', some say it was because the cold pills were often blue, but the term 'smurfing' seems to come from the banking sector where they would break up a large sum of money into smaller payments to avoid detection.
