Hello all, if this gets removed I WILL NOT understand what the heck the point of this website is, I thought it was to help people find answers from people whom know about the same things. So here goes nothing. So I have been reading about a lot of people not liking the new Perc 10's that say a333 on them. I just started taking them about 2 months ago and they seem to work well, but according to all the other reports they suck. So my question is how do I know that I'm getting the full effects that I'm suppose to? Should I tell my doctor about these post I've been reading and get him to switch me to the Percocet 5's and just double up and take two of those to equal the 10mg's I'm taking now? Because I know that the Perc 5's the 525's work very well and as far as I know they haven't changed or gone away have they? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys and gals and have a WONDERFUL weekend all. Jman

I think you just said they work fine.. why change anything?
What would you gain?

but according to all the other reports they suck

Those are other peoples opinions.. what is yours? Do they suck in your opinion?
You said they work well.

I don't understand the question i guess.

I've read a lot of reports about particular new generics of drugs I've taken over the years and most of the time you see people go crazy with claims of them not working or not having the right ingredients in them and then I try them and I don't notice anything wrong. I feel like when people read someone else's negative report about a particular brand of pharmaceutical, they take the drug with the mindset that it's not going to work for them either and they start looking for anything negative. The mind is powerful.

I'm not saying that pill manufacturers can't screw up, but I've seen the exact same thing with generic prescription amphetamines, buprenorphine, and oxycodone. I'll stumble upon pages and pages of people saying "omg1!! These don't work, you all were right! I wish I listened" and then I'll try it and they'll work fine for me.

If they're working for you then don't worry about it. And the only way you can know for sure if they're working how they're supposed to (which you already said they are) is to take another brand and attempt to compare.

We don't allow brand discussion, or asking what to say to your dotcotr to get your meds changed.

By law, medication in the US, UK, Canada has to be equivalent in dosage forms, that is a 10mg percocet is exactly the same as a 5mg percocet. If you think one works better than the other it's probably psychological. People say a lot of shit online. Talk to your doctor if you are concerned.
