So I finished work at 5.15pm last night
Went out and drank my bodyweight in vodka
Laughed, flirted and was blatantly sexy
Amazed by the attention that I get
Realised that I've got some hip friends
Met a few more that I didn't know
Invited to afterparties where the booze flowed
Conversation ceased but hugs remained
Nothing sexual about it just goodness
Today I got up and cooked my breakfast
Went shopping and texted my friends
Ate too much fast food and felt sick
Road-tripped home with an old friend
With the sunlight in my eyes and smiles on my face
The beats resonating in my ears
Laughing and drinking coffee from a paper cup

That I thought of you for the first time in a while
