My freinds and I were having a contest to see who could make the best bong out of household materials today. So I ended up making a weird ass bong, just wondering if anyone has ever tried this?
I took a lightbulb and ripped of the metal thingy on the end with wirecutters (Like making those lightbulb crack pipes).
Then I took a plastic tube from my dads wine kit, electrical tape, and some seran wrap .
I poked a hole though a peice of strech wrap with the plastic tubing and sealed it with tape. Then put the weed into the hollowed out lightbulb and put the seran wrap/tube over the top so its as close to air tight as it can get (I taped it on just to be sure). Then I just applied a flame to the bottom of the lightbulb and covered the top of the tube with my thumb. The lightbulb eventually filled with smoke and I just inhaled through the tube.
This thing got us absolutly ripped with a really small amount of bud. So I'm wondering whether it was my weird ass pipe that did the trick of if it was just some really amazing chron?
 
Sounds like a homemade vaporizer to me chief...
By heating the pot through the glass, rather than burning it, you should get more of the good stuff going to your lungs.

Thats a good invention...I've heard those vaporizer pipes are the best way to smoke since they dont damage the weed with a direct flame. By the way...make sure u clean that bulb out. Broken light bulbs always have that white snow inside which doesnt look good for your lungs.
 
I imagine he/she used a clear lightbulb or cleaned the frosted one out completely. Clear would be so much easier though, i'd imagine that's what they used
