Hi everyone ! Im new here and im addicted to norco's 10-325. I take about 5 a day. I got addicted after i had my second child.
Can anyone tell me how bad the withdrawl will be if i try to do this on my own ? Im looking for anyone to relate with me . How much were you on and how you did it ?? i really dont want any type of rehab or anyone to know about my addiction. Im scared to death of the withdrawl though. Im also on xanax 1mg three times a day but i dont abuse those ...they arent my drug of choice. Anyone care to chat and help me !! Please !! thanks yall

your withdrawls wont be bad at all....mild discomfort at the most...i dont think 5 norco's a day should land you in rehab- my advice is to try to taper off and dont stress it to much...xanax will help as long as your not abusing it...youll be fine. Im in NO way trying to diminish what your going through but 5 norcos a day is a pretty small dose (compared to most of us..well some of us..well me i guess) you should be A OK!

thanks piebald. . I really really wanna do this alone . it use to be two a day in over a year im up to five a day. I suck with pain though....like stomach cramps etc... do you think i will need the drug suboxone (sp)?? may i ask how much you take a day and what you take a day ?

and yes i dont abuse the xanax. I have been on those for years now 1mg 3 times a day and ive never used more than im suppose to ...

gosh NO you dont need to fuck with subs! Subs should be used for people who have sever opiate dependance and cant come off without help. i had an oxy problem for a while and my mgs/ day were more than i care to admit..in my case i did use subs because there was no way in hell i was going to get clean without them but your situation is different, i dont think you will feel much discomfort at all! of course everyone is different but dont go overboard and get into subs or rehab or that shit unless you really really need to, i honestly think you will be fine..i think at the most the symptoms will be more mental than physical which is why the xanax will help, you might feel slight cramping and be somewhat restless but you will be ok.....i promise.....plus unless you were thinking of getting subs off the street i dont think any doc would prescribe you subs for that small amount of opiate..subs are actually stronger than what your on now.....give it a try and be positive, you will be ok!!!

Hey guess what? I am addicted to the exact same norco 10/325. What brand do you prefer...I always find that the watsons work better to me than the Victory pharmacies.

immodium will help if u feel any discomfort or stomach stuff..its actually an opiate but it dosent cross the blood brain barrier so you wont feel any sort of "high" but if you feel some physical discomfort it will help with that..there is TONS of info on immodium and withdraws on here, read up on it ..

im so excited i found yall !! Someone had mention sub when i introduced myself to the bluelight....i was reading about it but im glad you dont think i would have to use it b/c i hear it's expensive .
The otherside , how much do you take a day ?? Yes , i prefer the watsons also. I never in my life thought i would abuse pills , but after i had my baby i noticed the little high they gave me . Then i noticed i started cleaning my house more , being so nice to my kids and other people ...im just in a good mood on them and love getting things done . Not to mention it makes me not wanna eat so i weigh less than before i had my baby ! It's gonna be hard to say good bye to them
I will go buy def. get me some immodium. I have no one else to talk to about my abuse . My husband , my friends , no body knows.

My choice of hydrocodones is Watson also. People say there isnt a difference in brands but I beg to differ. Anyway, you should be able to speak to your husband about your condition. Its not like you were using them w/o any pain. You said you started after the birth of your child & any loving husband will understand what you're going threw.

Then again, I dont know what your husband is like so its definitely your judgement call. Also, as everyone mentioned you will probably not feel much as far as withdrawals but you should buy some Immodium AD

just start to cut back..it depends on how many you have..start by taking 1/2 less for a week if thats the pace that makes you comfortable....it wont be completely painless, but i think u will find its mental, not so much phsycial, you are going to have to re-learn how to do all those things u used to do without pills and that will be an adjustment, maybe you should pick someone to talk to face to face..i was alone too, with a way worse problem and it sucked, it still sucks, i still miss opiates..i understand what your talking about....and your doing this at the right time, because your dose is still small and given time you are going to be taking more and more and more..then the real trouble starts

Yes my husband would probably understand. I am just to ashamed to tell anyone or admit it to anyone .
