This is a story of someone who was a star athlete only to get to college and throw it away after getting hooked because of a couple athletics related surgeries. Never even drank before college now the guy will do just about anything that doesn't involve a needle or losing teeth(crack/meth). Guy feels pretty crappy about wasting his opportunity and then squandering the money made from a successful online business when use was still casual. On hour 50 of opiate withdrawal(80-120mg a dose)...have stopped for 5-7 days here and there a few times but for the most part in the past few years this crap has a strangle hold him. Couldn't sleep last night, maybe got 2 hrs in total from rolling around sweating and twitching from the anxiety. Guy has already been prescribed anxiety medication but the new insurance he had to switch to didnt cover his regular doctor so Im sure that's going to be an adventure getting those rewritten for him since he hasnt been able to get any in a few months. With his already existing anxiety issues, add withdraw anxiety hes pretty much constantly in a state of anxiety attack. What can he do to make this easier? He's got some benzos, hylands restful legs, ester c and multi vitamins, access to purchase kratom, and just a smidgen of weed. Has read the Thomas method. He tried kratom today...first half ounce which didn't do much then the other half ounce which after about 2 hours had him seeing cross-eyed and never fixed the anxiety. What else can I do to make this process faster? Can drinking alot of fluids and vitamins really speed it up? Any general withdrawal tips/advice would be appreciated. Is the worst over? I have no money rn so there's no way for me to relapse. Hes got to work the rest of the week so he must survive that and appear to be in decent working condition.

Symptoms at hour 50: random fits of sneezing, constant anxiety, feeling like his bones want to crawl out of his skin, general depression/hopelessness, abit of sweating and hot/cold but not too bad, restless leg syndrome, insomnia(benadryl doesn't work)...I think this has to due with the aforementioned rls and skin crawling anxiety, and can barely get out of bed.

No diarrhea, nausea, cramps, or muscle pain. Thanks

Well done... keep it up. Do u have access to subutex?
take loadsa benzos over first 4 days, loperamind will help with the WD bigtime, I know its 'Immodium' in UK, but you should be able to pick Loperamide up from any chemist. Take quite large dose initially, then more 4hrs later.
Hot baths, Gabapentin. Mirtazipine helos with sleep. lotsa fizzy drinks and bitter lemon for restless legs.
good luck

80-120mgs of what? One thing you can do to speed up WD, is going in the sauna as often as possible, the more you sweat, the more your body rids itself of toxins, and I would avoid the loperamide for this reason. Even though. Its a pain in the ass to have diarrhea(no pun intended), that's another way your body is ridding itself of toxins.

What the below users said. Also, just refer to yourself normally. It reads terrible this way and won't protect you from LE who don't give a fuck about endusers anyways.

Good luck man. Buprenorphine, gabapentin, clonidine, kratom and loperamide will all help (don't overdo the lope it can kill your heart).

3x the normal dose of robotussin(dxm) or more does wonders. I prefer a full bottle of it, but I think I have a tolerance to it.

Keep on keeping on. I just woke up in day 8. And I'm here to let you know, it does get better. Just think about the long-term not the short term. Get ahold of some loperamide better known as immodium AD. I kind of have the same story. I was completely anti drug when I started. Wouldn't even hangout with people who smoked weed. If you need someone to vent to. My PM box is open to you. You got this. Keep your head up and remember, you got to move, to move on.

Hob,

Did the loperamide help a lot?

What was the dosage you took? I have tons of immodium stocked up and ready to go....

Just not sure where to start...

It works really well and really fast for me. Some people it takes like 5 hours to start working because of the slow absorption rate of lope. I start at 10 of the 2mg pills when I first wake up which is 20mg. Without them. I wouldn't be on day 8 right now. Private message me if you need help.

Thanks, just want to make sure everyone is safe on here

As for the withdrawals, I'm no expert but Ondansetron helps with nausea and helps reduce body aches and pains. Clonodine helps takes care of the hot flashes and cold sweats so you can get some sleep. Lope helps. If you get really anxious, a benzo can help. I'd recommend a long life one like Valium over something like Xanax

Thanks Hob. I added you as a friend, can I PM after that? Sorry I'm new around here.
You have given me hope. I get myself so worked up over being sick, that I don't even wait to get sick and use. It's so stupid. I react really well it subs; like it takes .5 to hold off WD all day. So im hoping the lope does the same for me. So I will do my last shot of H this afternoon; then dose immodium tonight and hopefully I won't wake up in full blown withdrawals. I would love to have some one to chat w tomorrow if things get crazy and I need some encouragement :)

Feel free to message me whenever you want. I work 11 hours a day, so if you don't get a response right away. Just try to stay patient. I started an opiate addiction group on Facebook, it has roughly a hundred fully blown opiate and opioid addicts all there to help. I'll give you the group in private message if you would like. We're all very close and help without judging.

Just know that you can do this.
