New here and have a question.. (hydrocodone and soma)

Hi, I have a couple questions, I am not addicted to either one of these pills but I enjoy doing them here and there, I usually just have a weekend of fun (pill popping, if i have a script) every two months lol...I got a prescription for 40 350mg Somas and 15 7.5/325 Norcos...Now I have a very high tolerance to Norcos/Vicodin, what's a safe amount of Norcos I can take? I just took 5 Norcos with 1 Soma, since I hear Somas make opiods stronger...I am feeling good but in a couple hours I want to refuel lol...I have had a couple seizures in the past because of AVM that I have but its sooo small its not life threatening or is surgery needed...but now I hear about seizures and Somas and its got me thinking...I am taking Lamictal for my seizures though..so what is your advice? Btw i have in the past in college finished 30 Vicodins within 2 days lol so my tolerance is up there but what about with Somas? Just don't want to have a seizure but I also don't want to throw them out so please don't say that lol.

P.S. I want to have these done by the end of the weekend before my work week starts, and what's a safe amount for me to take the somas?

1g of APAP in one go, or 2(3?)g per day. I hope you're CWE'ing the opioid from the Norcos...

Other than that, tolerance / dosing is all on you. Start slow and work your way up, as you can't really "take back" pill doses. Every person is different, you can't base what one person can take as what another can. I've had a friend OD on 60mg of oxycodone one time (he's okay now but..), so there's no "high but guaranteed safe" dose.
 
I am not doing cwe on the norcos, so taking 5-6 is too much at once with the norcos? I mean when i take 3-4 norcos I barely feel anything at all...Also what about the Somas?

Nobody is willing to give me advice or help?

Don't get why nobody's responding...I just want to know when its safe to take more somas...

Also how much time should i let pass before taking more somas? Like if i take 4 somas at 5 pm then when can i take more? Like 8 pm or 9 pm to avoid overdose ...

I'm not a big fan of soma, and personally with muscle relaxers I wouldn't take more than 2 when combining them with pain killers. Then again that depends on the strength of the pill. As far as norco's go, recommended 24 hr dosage of APAP is 4000mg. That said, you could safely take 12 norco in a 24 hr. period. 5-6 norco 7.5s is a pretty good tolerance to vicodin so if that's not working for you and you're looking for the "buzz" you might be out of luck. Also I haven't heard of soma's intensifying vicodin but thats just me. Soma's or muscle relaxers in general usually just make me tired.. no euphoric feelings. Hopefully that helps you out a bit.

EDIT: The recommended dose of soma is 350 mg a day. Like I said, probably should chill with the muscle relaxers or you're just going to be a blacked out zombie. Not to mention the adverse side effects you could encounter.
 
I have noticed that with the norcos/Vicodins so I'm going to stop them after these 15 I have is gone, tolerance is to high lol.

But with the somas how long should i wait before taking more? 3-4 hours or more?

The prescribed dosage varies but typically it'd be 1 pill every 8-12 hrs. If you're looking to pass out and the first dose didnt work for you, the second one probably will not either and would be stupid to risk side effects taking it again so quickly. Muscle relaxers aren't too popular for the "high" which seems to be what you're looking for. To answer your question point blank, at least 8-12 hours but I would suggest not taking more.
 
So even if I'm just using it to get high I can't redose until 8 hrs??? The high from somas only last like 2-3 hours though..

This isn't an instant response forum, and you're essentially asking how high you can safely get, which isn't allowed. I gave you a response regarding the safety levels of acetaminophen (which isn't a debatable topic, it is what it is), and information on Soma is all over the place.
 
Soma is a depressant just like hydrocodone is. Mixing depressants can be done safely if you exercise caution and a little common sense. As Pj mentioned, this isn't an instant response forum...but the replies you will get are worth the wait.

Some things to keep in mind:

Norco has APAP (Tylenol, acetaminophen, paracetamol) in it. Excessive dosages and/or chronic intake of APAP is dangerous for your liver. Do a search for "CWE" or "Cold Water Extraction" on these forums for more information on APAP and preventing the toxic effects of APAP though a simple extraction you can do at home.

Soma (carisoprodol) is a CNS-active muscle relaxant and depressant. It can be safely taken in dosages of 350-700mg a day (divided into two dosages) or higher depending on tolerance. Soma is closely related to the depressant meprobamate (Miltown). Mixing Soma with hydrocodone causes powerful synergistic effects, please be careful and if you're mixing the two, lower your dosages of both drugs.

Avoid mixing hydrocodone and Soma with alcohol as this can be a very dangerous combination.
 
Well the hydrocodone is gone, so its only somas, I thought somas didn't have apap ...I also read that people take like 6 somas at once...and I'm definitely not drinking with it...I'm just taking 2-3 at once, how many times a day can i redose with the 2-3 at a time? Thanks for the replies.
 
Just because some people take "like 6 at once" doesn't mean you can. Those people have tolerance. Some formulations of Soma have APAP in them, and some don't. Look at the label.

You can take it two to three times a day, depending on your reaction. If you take two at once (700mg total), I would wait at least 3-4 hours before dosing again.
 
I just want to say, really be careful with the Somas. They are extremely unpredictable, and I am sure anyone can attest to that fact. One day you could take 3 Somas and feel fine, and the next day you take 3 and are practically unable to move, falling down. But in your case, that could mean feeling fine with 3 one day, and taking 3 the next day and having a seizure because of your pre-exsisting seizure disorder. You are taking Lamictal, which does help with seizures obviously, but I wouldn't be taking too many chances gobbling these Somas. One Soma with some hydro, fine, but really I'd be careful if I were you.
 
^This is a very good point. Lamictal can have depressant effects of its own.

I recommend starting with one Soma and testing the waters - see what it does on its own - if you haven't already, before just jumping right into eating two or three at a time.
 
One didn't do anything but 2 has me feeling good, how long does the high last and how long before I can take 2 more? Thanks for the concern and i finished the norcos so I'm taking somas on their own and remember this is just for this weekend, not a everyday thing.
