New headphones needed, best ones for house music?

I'd stick to major brands. Sony, AKG, Sennheiser, Shure, Pioneer, Allen and Heath, Denon

[edit] Wow, nevermind the UK mark up for headphones is insane.

£64.99 Sennheiser Hd 215 Amazon UK

SOL Republic.
Check them out.
I own a pair, and one of the awesomest features about them is.
If the headphone cord breaks. You can replace it.

Get either the V-10's or the V-12's they are ridiculous.

I would recommend Sennheiser or AKG. Please don't get yourself "Beats by Dre", their products are mostly about marketing.

Seriously, look up the SOL reviews.
They are compared to Sennheiser while being within the 100-150 dollar price range.
They aren't horrible. They aren't heavily marketed because they are pretty unknown.
They honestly have rocked by world.
But i cannot compared North American Designs to German designs.

I'm a fan of the good ol' Sony MDR-7506's

^ I have a pair and for DJing and recording its probably the best headphone out there. Flat frequency response = hearing everything with great clarity as opposed to buying a pair of cans with huge bass. It really does help with mixing, if something is out of sync or sounds like shit, you'll hear it.

I know some people prefer cans with bass due to really loud monitors in the booth but yeah, I agree.

Best all-around pair of over-the-ear headphones IMO

What headphones

Hey guys

What headphones are the best to listen to music while tripping? Beats by dre?

My girlfriend bought me Sol Republic Master Tracks for christmas and they're just insane. The headband is removable from the speakers and is litterally indestructable. All parts are replaceable god forbid something happens to them including wires. They cost around $200 i believe, but tripping and those headphones is unreal. Such clarity and insane low end. Really quality gear.

Sennheiser HD-25. They're not cheap, but they last very long and have an excellent sound. I've had mine for five years now, and besides that they need a new cable, everything is as new. And you can replace every part of them because the're built modular.

Seinheiser makes really solid headphones I have the HD 280s and they are built like a tank and sound great.when I'm not in the studio I like to use skull candy skullcrushers the new ones with the detachable chord and in ear amp they thump, skullcandy can be iffy on longevity though .
