new guy from DC area

I've been lurking around BL for a while whenever I needed some answers. I started lurking around here about a year ago when after 10 years of recreational opiate use I got my first habit. That's when I came here and discovered all sorts of help.

I live in DC/NoVA where I know nobody who likes drugs so I had to figure out how to keep from getting sick by reading these forums.

Cool! I just ask you be careful not to get addicted to heroin. It's a lot more enjoyable to use opiates sparingly.

I used to be addicted to heroin: no one should have to suffer through that.

Opiates are my best friend/worst enemy......as captain said stay as far down the opiate ladder as you can. Welcome to Coolight!!!!

I have used it all and used it responsibly. I'm very careful not to get in trouble with substances. It is recreation not lifestyle for me.

^^Good to hear but their is a fine line between the two with opiates.....upper class, lower class the addiction isn't picky.
