Greetings to all. I just joined the site and look forward to learning and sharing from and to other members.

About me: I had cervical spine surgery in April '09. Terrible neuro-muscular problems and other complications frm the surgery resulted in paralysis in my right leg, severe bladder dysfunction and absolutely horrible, off-the-chart neuro-muscular pain that required around the clock medication to control. When I was finally prescribed the right medicine (30mg then eventually 60mg Oxy & 10-325 Oxycodone/Percocet) I began to get relief.

The debilitating pain I had suffered for so long in my neck, right shoulder, low back, legs and arms began to lessen. Eventually, I learned to walk again, stand up straight and balance myself while walking. My arms slowly re-strengthed, my leg muscles hurt less but the burning and aching hot pain in both my neck, right shoulder and low back continued, even to now.

Therefore, I am still taking the Oxy and Percocet to manage the pain. I get 90 OC and 120 Oxycodne each month and always have some left over each month. I do not drink at all, not a drop. Alcohol means nothing to me. But, I still enjoy a nice "ride" now and then and hope to learn more here at Blue Light.

Thanks for reading this.
