New contraindication of 2c-e

A rabbit went and drank grape fruit juice the day before and during a 2c-e trip and it caused bad headaches. 2 months later headaches are still going on and and it seems like it could be temporal arteritis. there was immediate damage to nerves because the following days there were sensations of nerve damage like burning, prickling, numbing, and so on. Over the three weeks the sensations went away but the headaches that resemble the disease continued. He had taken this 2c-e 3 times before with no problem. but since the grapefruit. Everything aggravates this condition. Even cigarrettes have very adverse reaction. Seen similar reports on drug forum. Bottom line just thought that this is a fairly simple mistake that can have consequences, and I thought I should share this with the rest of you all. the rabbit is going to the doctor today.

NOTE* Don't MIX 2c's with grapefruit

Grapefruit juice is well known for potentiating MANY things and potentially changing their metabolic pathway by inhibiting lots of enzymes. Drinking it with any research chemical seems like a pretty bad idea to me.

Also, IamMe90, he's not talking about arthritis....

Interesting, thank you for the heads up. That means Tagamet (cimetidine) probably has similar effects.

Have you seen a doctor about this yet?
