New Codral Cold & Flu tablets - phenylephrine?

I CWE codeine from 6 Codalgin 30mg tablets the other night, and got a really sweet, sedating effect. I'm really wanting to extract some more codeine, but since I don't have any prescription for the Codalgin (old Rx) I bought a 24pk of the Codral Cold & Flu today. Anyways, unlike the Codalgin tablets that had only 500mg APAP/30mg Codeine, these pills have 9.5mg of Codeine, 500mg APA and 5mg of Phenylephrine Hydrochloride.

My question is, do I have to adapt the CWE method to filter out the Phenylephrine as well? Or do I have to extract it from the filtrate somehow? Or is it safe to take in large quantities? (Planning on taking 228mg of Codeine from the Codral and 60mg from 2 Codalgin tablets that I have left)

I'm not sure about the phenylephrine, but you can get tablets with just paracetemol and codeine in them just by asking at the counter of any pharmacy.
