New Chemical Brothers Album

Okay, so the new Chemical Brothers album is set to drop on July 19th. They just released a single off it, and true to their style, it kicks ass. Is everyone as ecstatic as I am?

Bought We Are the Night and wasn't terribly impressed.

Well, We Are The Night isn't in my top 10 that's for sure...Ha! Surrender I can understand, that's a great album. I'll just go back and listen to Exit Planet Dust or something.

I didn't dig We Are the Night much either, but Further was pretty great. The accompanying DVD to the album is one sick visual experience!

They released a song in preparation for it already called"Sometimes I Feel So Deserted".I like it...new kinda sound without losing their identity.

Great album...just sheer genious. Especially how it grows on you.

My thoughts indeed, any tracks by the Chemical Brothers "should" be good...
But that's like saying Carl Cox has a good repertoire.
Just to sideline for a minute, the BBC Worldwide are posting an acapella session on global beats this Saturday night at 10pm, or 9pm (greenwich mean time.)

Will be a wise choice...they are one of the greatest live shows ever

I've given it about 5 or 6 full listens in the last few days. Three of them were on spotify but I bought the cd yesterday which is a rarity for me these days, but it supports them and I have a number of their other albums so an easy decision. The deluxe edition is on spotify with an extended mix of Go, which is probably my favourite song on the album (which is a great driving song, extended mix or not). There is one song that I have to skip through, it's "Just Bang" and it bugs me. One of my all time favourite artists and have been looking forward to this for a long time. Overall, it's great.
