Hi - thanks for having me.
Basic intro - female, late 20s.......
I was diagnosed with depression several years ago. Dalliances with several anti-depressants and a hell of a lot of alcohol whilst I tried to function as a university student and professional singer.

After being prescribed panadeine forte for severe tonsilitis (I'd never had codeine before this event) I discovered that this kind of painkiller was for me. Packets and packets of nurofen plus, panafen plus ensued over the following months.
Along with vodka, whisky, or cask wine, these were my poisons of choice.

Now, several years and several de-toxes later there are more substances that have been added to the mix, thanks to varying opinions by varying prescribing doctors.

I won't list the medications here, but I'm concerned about their interactions and about the authenticity of the diagnoses I've been given, as well as the efficacy of the treatments.......

Not sure what else to write at the moment.
Was that too much?

More than a greeting, but I thought basic info would help with getting me to the right forums etc...

Hey Miss Alabama, welcome to Bluelight

Have you been doing CWE's with your Codeine painkillers? Or not having them in too much of a high dose? The Ibuprofen and Paracetamol is really bad for your organs in high doses.

You could try using the advanced search engine; for threads of interest. There is tonnes of information on here, but if you don't get the answers you need you can start a new one listing the drugs your on some people can check if there are obvious interactions.

Bugger about all the booze! Makes me moody, it can be a horrid drug!
