New at kush, HELP!!!

I'm mostly an opiate user, but at this point have no access to any. I haven't used for weeks.

Anyway, a friend is getting me some apparently dank kush, so as a first time user I have some questions I hope you guys can answer.

Is it true that you don't even get high the first time you smoke kush?

How much would you suggest smoking the first time?

Anyone have a favourite type?

And I would just like any suggestions or tips anyone has for a first time user, it would be super appreciated.
