New Abuse-proof Oxycontin

I read a while back that the maker of Oxycontin was planning on coming out with a new, abuse-proof Oxycontin. Does anyone know if they have come out with it yet, or when it is supposed to be out?
 
Everything I heard about this is all from friends, so I just want to make it clear that I have no factual evidence to back any of it up, just what I have heard...
Anyways, what I hear they were going to do was make it so that if the pill was to be crushed it would basically destroy the active ingrediants and you'd get nothing from it. They would also be time released so taking a large dose wouldn't really do anything, and if people would try to crush it to defeat this, it would have no effect due to the above mentioned reason. Again, like I said this is just what I've heard about through friends, but I guess that's how they'd make a drug "abuse-proof" easyfreak.
 
I think this thread should stay due to its mystery. I see these "abuse proof" scandals happening more and more. All the ADD medicines or become abuse proof. I myself would be pretty upset since oxy is my favorite drug. But there is still time to stock up.
 
Or maybe put in a FAQ. If/when the abuse proof stuff comes out we will probably get "whats up with the new oxycontin" every day.
