neurontin and meth

is it safe for me to try a small amount of crystal meth ? I take 300 mg neurontin 3 X per day . . I have taken coke many times without a problem but not meth . is it fairly safe to do this ? thanks

I had a quick look in my MIMS - it's an anticonvulsant, and the only drug interaction mentioned is cimetidine (ulcer treatment). So it's PROBABLY not going to interact with meth. The fact that you have had coke without a problem is also encouraging. That said - I'm no doctor, so take it easy

Are you taking the gabapentin (Neurontin) for seizures or for neuralgic pain? Because there is evidence to suggest that amphetamines may contribute to seizure activity... so I'd want you to be really careful.
