the legal use of methadone for chronic pain is being strangled in rapid time by federal closures of warehouses and daily changing mandates suboxone just wont help us true honest pain patients... help:?:? :?:?:?

What would you advise for not only my situation but other patients who can't get meds they have been on for years? FL. has been targeted due to a lax past with controls.I am trying to find out who we can contact and help all others that are in same situation...thanks

Just to be clear, we can't mention any doctors to contact since that would be considered sourcing, but if anybody knows of any organizations that are advocates for legitimate pain patients that are being negatively affected by the crackdowns then they can be discussed here.

Thanks no problems with doctors or pharmacys. There hands are tied also they are frustrated with these very recent laws the situation in fl. is due to clinic abuse and rightfully they were shut down the knee jerk reaction of legislators was to dry out all supplys. My understanding is that not all states are doing this recently from las vegas prior nj. never heard such problems. Thank you for your help hopefully I can find advocates per your suggestion.

I know some people get their meds through the mail(legitimately), have you explored that option?

Yes, unfortunetlily the class meds. are difficult to obtain generally as a cancer treatment certain pharms. carry what my physician a pain specialist prescribes she has a # of patients that like me have been 10-20yrs on these meds that are in worse shape then me. Very recent legislation is blocking suppliers US and out of the country the answer a long time fix is to get the legislators out that don't understand how serious a quick stop of certain meds can be...thanks started to contact lawmakers (politely)
