I want to get some microfine needles but where I live at the pharmacy's they make you have an insulin prescription and that sort of thing.
Is there a way around this? Or is there an online place that seels needles?

How many pharmacies have you tried? Just because one won't sell to you doesn't mean all of them won't...
Consider what you're asking for. Are you saying "I want some hypodermic needles" or are you, say, asking for B & D (shit, I forgot what that stands for) 29 gauge needles?
Check out PhreeX's FAQ on IV drug use in the FAQ section, he's actually bought them, all the needle experience I have is with 16 gauge butterfly needles, and the kind used to draw blood with the evacuated glass tube. Both are unsuitable for injecting any drugs... Although I supposed you could set up a "drip" with the butterfly needles.

Where do you live? Some states have strict regulations about selling syringes. I live in PA and have to goto WV to get'em.
Usually "Hi, can I have a pack of 1cc BD insulin needles?" works fine.
Also, different pharmacies have there own rules about selling points. I guess it;s really up to the pharmaicist when it comes down to it. I dont know if you have a Kroger's Grocery Store by you but they are really easy to buy from.

Needles are legal most places in the United States. Lots of people use em -- doctors, diabetics, veterinarians, and so on. If you look around a little, they shouldn't be hard to find, even online.

Yes, if your able to order things online, do that! You can buy a box of 100 for $10! Just do some searching.

We had to go through this today in fact - yes, some states have laws about selling them, and a lot more places are refusing the sale...
Here is what myself and another bluelighter did...
Using your best sickly voice call the pharmacy, the story you give them is that you are in town and need syringes, so you want to send your son (or daughter) down to pick some up - the story we found works best is that you are taking Betaseron (an MS drug thats not sold at most any pharmacy, rather shipped from Berlex Labs, hence a valid reason the "patients" name wouldn't be in their system) .. just tell themyou use 1cc 29g 'Ultra Fine' Insulin syringes... well, you're sick so you are simply calling to ensure it's cool if your son/daughter picks up a 10 pack ... this worked for us several times...
You can go the insulin route - something like Humulin 70/30 - but they might require you to be inthe system for something that common...
If they refuse, go elsewhere...

The situation is generally the same here, and most major pharmaices require you to show an insulin card or some sort of information, but some don't. Eventually you will find the ones in your area that don't and hopefully will be done with it.
The ones that don't reuqire it here do require you to show them your ID, I am assuming only to verify if you are over 18, but who knows, they might write some shit down too, but we've never had a problem. Also, dress properly.
We sometimes do the note trick as well, just a bit differently, have a friend write kind of like a shopping list, and have one of the listing be for the needles, something like:
1 10 pk B&D 29 Guage Insulin needles
Then finish the list and sign it. And then just point at the listing and tell the pharmacist, you want some of those, don't say anything else. If he asks any questions, act like you don't know a goddamn thing about them. This is simply a list your roomate left you and all you know is he is a diabetic. If he asks any more questions you don't know anything else, at all.
Chances are you won't be questioned further, it's really just a matter of finding a good pharmacy, keep trying all the ones in your area...if worse comes to worse, order in bulk online...

I'm just going to emphasize that you really need to just keep trying till you find a pharmacy that will sell 'em to you. Even I -- I who look sooo clean cut like I would never shoot up (seriously) -- have been given dirty looks by pharmacists. But then I went to this other place where they didn't give a damn. It's also a really good idea to just wait until you see a younger/chiller person working in the pharmacy -- avoid older people, they are conservative and suspicious!
Another thing -- if you are in NY you are screwed...no needles without prescription in NY state. But in CA you can get them...

^^I hate that. The dirty looks I mean. Most of the time, even if they are gonna sell me rigs, they still give me these fucked up looks. I really hate that. It especially sucks if I;m standing there with a bag of dope in my pocket, wanting to get high real bad, and thinking "Oh shit. Are they gonna hook me up or not?" The look on their face usually says "No junky, leave please." It's a definate relief when they grab the box of syringes. The whole situation gives me anxiety, and it's all because of the look on the pharmacist's face.

Ahh well I knew that you couldn't buy them at pharmacies, that was all...but thanks for the input! I had my supply already when I was in NY so I didn't have to look for needles while I was there.

Your not screwed in NYC for needles, New York is one of the states with probably the most junkies. Needle exchanges ae all over the city they give you free needles. Same thing applies for Chicago you cant buy them (you can if you really try to) but they have needle exchanges that you sign up for with a fake name (if you paranoid you my be put on some government list with 1000's of others) or a real name. They give you all the needles you want, a cooker, distilled water, bleach, a cooker, cottons, and condoms, all in a nice brown paper bag. The plus to signing up for this is you also get a card that states you are legally allowed to possess neeedles in this state. That card has saved me a view times when I have been found with needles show them the card they kinda huff at it, but there isnt shit they can do. Most of the time if you get popped with a needle all the Piggies do is throw it out the window. (most of the time)
LOLtrue

One more thing ..once you get your "outfits" and "slam" your dope please put the syringe in some kind of puncture proof container for ultimate disposal. Please dont just toss it in the trash. Some hospitals will take them no questions asked Or ask a friend with access to "bio-trash " to help you out(Nursing home ect.)A good junkie leaves nothing but his footprint>

you know one time (recently) a gurl of mine and I legally bought them... receipt and all when they start chasing her (4 grown dudes)... then I get in my car and we make last-minutes skin-of-yer-teeth getaway... all for harm reduction's sake.... Walgreens 0 Junkies 1

Okay, I just started shooting recently and I have had to deal with this problem. Surprisingly, I copped needles 2/3 attempts. All it took was a little thinking and preparation on my part, not a big deal if you're serious about getting them. Dress responsibly, almost to the point of dorkiness. I usually get some fake glasses, a nice collared shirt, some dress pants, and a sweater and go in there looking like Bill Gates. Just talk really dorky and look well-groomed (no beards or visible tattoos or piercings). Now I always go in there with a fake grocery list and walk up and say something to the effect of "Hello, my mother told me to pick something up for her. She said the pharmacy would know what it is." At this point try and read it, but fumble and read it clumsily like you don't know what it is. Then just show the pharmacist what it is you want on your list...point to it or something. THen they will probably ask if she's a regular customer there and what she needs needles for. Just say she isn't a regular customer here, she goes to "X" pharmacy but they were out of what she wanted. THat usually works. Sometimes I fake a phonecall with my mom on my cellphone just to add some realism.

My god I can't believe some people have to go to such lengths to get fucking needles. This is retarded they cant sell you a needle.................................... free country my ass.

I think alot of you guys are stressing too hard when you try to buy. IT IS LEGAL TO BUY NEEDLES So I will provide a list of tips and places to go and not go.
First of all, when you go in, act like you've done this a million times. They're going to ask you for your ID and you're going to have to sign something. It doesn't fucking matter. The DEA isn't going to come to your door asking what you've been doing with the 10 packs of syringes you've been buying.
Now, here are places NOT to go because they're nosey and ask a lot of of questions: Walgreens is the absolute worst place you could go, they'll give you shit for bringing in a legit script even for cough syrup with codeine. Eckerd's likes to play 21 questions and often won't sell unless you're from the immediate area. Rite-Aid plays 21 questions. And Giant is usually a bitch. I have bought from Eckerd's, Rite-Aid and Giant, however.
CVS is by far the easiest. Safeway is easy.
The other thing is if you're in an area known for heroin, it's much more difficult to get needles. The pharm workers act like bitches and give you severe attitudes. You'll have much better luck in the suburbs where they won't be expecting anyone to use hero
