I know i need to decrease the dose day by day,but will it help taking SSRI's while quitting the benzo, please help me out here iam really worried about the negative side effects that might appear.
I started taking Rohypnol for fun and comedowns, but that has changed!
This green little pills are the only drug that has taken control over me.i think iam hooked!
Memory loss has also mede some bad influence in my life and iam going at my last year as a multimedia designer. One BIG FUCKING problem is that i have 5 exams in about 2 weeks,u cant read or study while sedated....

SSRIs won't help you quite benzos.
The only way to come off benzos is to taper off very very slowly.
If you need to study, well, start tapering right away, and presuming that you aren't getting shakes/jittery from the withdrawal, try supplementing with low doses of a stimulant (ritalin, adderal, dexedrine, or meth) to help you study and be alert. Only do the minimum (of the stim) necessary to get you through your work. This should get you through the next weeks of school.
Then, once you are out of school, lay off the stims and focus on slowly tapering off the rohypnol.
What dosage have you been taking and for how long?

"SSRIs won't help you quite benzos."
That is not quite true. SSRIs may indeed help him get off benzos easier. They are known to potentiate benzos, and therefore it is easier to cut down on doses.
This of course does not mean that the tapering should'nt be done at the normal rate - SSRIs will simply take off a little edge.

Your best way to get off ruffies would probably be benzo's. I'd try to lower your dosage every few days on the rohypnol for about a week. After that I'd switch to xanix and slowly ween yourself off of them. Cold turkey would be the worse because you probably wouldn't be able to function & be hurting. Good Luck...

Time,about 6 months with abuse.
Dosage around 3 to 4 mg a day,but at the weekends its been around 7/8 mg due to comedowns.
Alcohol is that something that will help while tapering off?
Hey maybe quitting wont be that hard at all,but it sure worries me alot.
Maybe iam making a big deal out of nothing?

Don't listen to Noriega on this one - trading a Rohypnol addiciton for a Xanax addiction isn't very smart, especially because Xanax is much shorter in it's action, and a Xanax addiciton can easily spiral WAY out of control taking you FAR beyond where you are with the r00fies... now your habbit isn't too bad - 3mg-4mg a day is really rather tame compared to what some people take...
Have you tried just quitting cold turkey? If thats not an option then you just need to taper... and yes, I think an SSRI could greatly help you, so give it a whirl...
Wow, this just so isn't me.. it feels weird to be giving advice about how you QUIT taking drugs... this is freaking me out, I can't handle this...
MOVED TO THE DARKSIDE ..
