marquis: yellow
simons: blue

the marquis did start to turn an orange color after a while..

so what do I actually have?

Can tell you what its not... MDMA! Sounds like RC results, maybe 2c family. Not entirely sure but I wouldn't consume it, hopefully someone more experience and knowledgeable can help you out.
