Bupe Need some input on Suboxone Film Nasal Spray

Hi All, I have been on Suboxone tablets for 2 years. My perferred method of taking them was snorting, usually 1-2 mg at a time a few times a day. I have been switched to the Film Strips because they are not making the tablets anymore. I would like to make a nasal spray with the Film using Saline and a small amount of an all natural nasal gel that I just purchased. I thought the gel would work well with the suboxone film because I have heard that it turns into a gel when it gets wet. I have not tried this yet. Can someone guide me as to how I even begin to figure out the ratio of Strips/saline/gel when doing this? I don't want to screw this up because these are EXPENSIVE! Any input would be greatly appreciated. Has anyone ever done this before and what was the outcome?

I've never created a nasal spray out of them, (though I know some BL'ers who have so they'd definitely be able to help you on that), but I do have experience with preparing it for nasal use via regular syringe. The strips break down just fine in just a little bit of water. So after creating the solution, it's pretty simple to suck it up into a syringe and squirt up your nose, (or plug it if that is your thing). I've found that by doing so I require a lower amount and it comes on faster, leading to slightly more euphoria... though with an opiate tolerance you wont really feel much of it.
 
I did get an oral syringe, not sure why but I picked one up today. Maybe in the meantime while I am researching the nasal spray I can use this method. How much of the strip do you put in there at a time, or do you do the whole thing?? Also, if you only use a small amount of the strip, how do you keep it fresh for future use? Thanks so much for taking your time to help me! You are the best!
 
i'm not really sure i'm very curious about this stuff as well. I put in about 8 films into 14ml of water and shook it up like crazy. I put a few drops into my nose and it burns like crazy for about 30mins.

not sure if this method is very viable as i get A LOT of drip.
i'm thinking im just going to sublingual this solution i made over time.
 
Not sure about nasal gel but an empty afrin bottle works much better than an oral syringe(just make sure it's well rinsed). Fill the bottle half way with water and count how many sprays it takes to empty it and divide that number by 4. Whatever number you ended up with will equal about 2 mgs if you use a whole 8 mg strip.
