Hi there,

I recently lost a friend to drugs, He took a bomb of what he thought was MDMA and sadly he died, it was a brown powder but I heard that it was stuck to the bag I thought MDMA was crystal/powedery? Also his mother has been told by the police that it contained pma or pmma not sure which could someone tell me what this is?

Sorry for your loss and welcome to bluelight. MDMA can come in many forms, and so can lots of other chemicals. Best to have a test kit handy. A good starting point would be Erowid or Wikipedia. Both have PMA/PMMA information.

The way it looks is in no way indicative of quality or even what drug it is.
I'm soooo sorry for your loss though, it sounds like a freak accident.
However in ecstasy/MDMA related deaths pmma is usually the culprit, it's very high toxicity couple with a much slower onset leads to many overdoses.
In Edmonton Alberta when pmma containing pills hit, 3 people died at one show, and it was a relatively small show
