I've expressed what I've been going through in previous threads regarding trying to get off of oxycodone. Since I posted here on TDS and had some nice responses so I thought I would ask my advice here. Well I just got out of detox/rehab, which wasn't the greatest experience of my life but, oh well it's done. They had been giving me Buprenorphine over the course of 4 days and they now suggest I get on suboxone, starting today. So from people who have been on or currently on it: is this a good drug to become a part of one's life or if not, what negatives? I'm at a crossroads here: either go cold turkey and go through whatever withdrawals I may encounter now or make suboxone a daily part of my life. I've been so used to boosting my brain with oxy's, I wonder how functional I'll be with out anything of that nature in my system. Which is why subs seem like an easy thing to fall into, but I'm sure it has it's dark side too. Aside for the last few days I've had no previous experience with it. So has suboxne been a good thing for you or a bad thing? I'd appreciate any input, thanks.
