I have broken off wisdom teeth that make it impossible to close my mouth and are EXTREMELY painful. I went to the dentist ($110 just for the visit) who told me they would have to be cut out and that would be over $2000 cash only. I called 2 other orthodontic surgeons in my area (Kentucky) and they said basically the same thing. It will take me at least 3 months to save that much money, but I don't know if I can take the pain that long. I am taking 1200mg ibuprofen/day, but it doesn't help at all. I've heard about Kratom and kava... Do they work? I can't afford much. Is there anything you can recommend? Please help me.

Also, I have absolutely no connections, or I would be all over the prescriptions. I just have no way of getting them.

not much we can do for you really bud. if you went to the dentist, he should've given you some kind of pain med script, at least vicodin. but nobody on here is gonna meet you in person (which is illegal on this board to even set up a meeting) and nobody is gonna give you any online sources, as this is also illegal on this board. also, both of those options are illegal anywayz. this is illegal too, but probably best bet, just ask your co-workers or something. don't straight up ask for oxycontin or anything, because that just sounds like someone asking for a buzz. just start talking about your tooth and how it really hurts, maybe even show it to them. ask them if they happen to have anything, I would even go as far as saying "vicodin" because usually almost everyone can get/knows someone who has some vicodin.

I just don't understand how, if you went to the dentist and he saw how much pain you were in, he didn't write you for at least vicodin. dentists almost always give vicodin, and they usually give you the 7.5mg strength for some reason also. unless you have a DSB (drug seeking behavior) written in your file somewhere.

all we can do is say keep using your ibuprofen (best for tooth pain, IMO) and try some Orajel.

OH, also, salt water mouthrinse, this is a must. it doesn't sound like it will help with the pain, and it might not seem like it does. but trust me, it really does, and its really good for it.

so, saltwater mouthrinse, ibuprofen, and Orajel.

Go to the Emergency Room at a hospital and claim the teeth are abscessed and the roots are throbbing with pain. Fake agony if it's not that bad acutely. They will have a dentist on staff that will have to extract the teeth surgically as it is an emergency. They'll prescribe you $5 antibiotics and maybe 20 or 30 hydrocodone/APAP pills that also cost $5 or so. You'll get a bill from the hospital later, but they can't turn you away for emergency care at the ER. Pay them back at your leisure.

Ibuprofen is the OTC wonderdrug!!!

Even better, and non-toxic, are enzyme combinations like bromelain from pineapple, papain from papaya, and trypsin that end up affecting the same anti-inflammatory pathway as ibuprofen does.

I've never once paid a hospital bill. does that go onto my credit at all?

now I've got a state insurance AHCCCS (prounounced "access) which makes everything free for me. but back in the day, I never paid.

hell, I've got a bill last year thats $195,000 for a 10 day hospital stay after I broke my femur and ankle. that will never get paid....any of it.

when I dislocated my knee, they were asking for money. and for a "resetting" fee or some shit, whenever they didn't sit it, the security guard dropped me on the table and when I went to grasp myself so I didn't fall off the table, it popped back in place, so I wasn't gonna pay for that. anywayz, I wrote a note to some christian thingie, and they paid for that one.

dunno about in the US, but over here poppy pods are perfectly legal to buy and making the tea is very easy, it lasts like 16 hours too.

RE: I've never once paid a hospital bill. does that go onto my credit at all?

HELL to the Yeah they do!

I had a bad ATV accident in 05 and was airlifted to Charlotte Trauma Center after being at Stanely County Mem where my family was told I was probably gonna die due to brain injury and bleeding in the stomach. I was in ICU there in Charlotte for 10 days before waking up. I had (two insurances) and I got hit with $100,000 that I couldn't pay bc I lost my job! Long story short! Thank GOD I bought my house when I was 24 because my credit is a big pile of Shit! Here In NC Dr. Bills go on our credit and stay there unless paid for I believe 7 fn yrs!

that sucks, but my credit was fucked long before my hospital bills. I remember a time before opiates, when I was just smoking weed and being a normal citizen, paying all my bills, including credit card bill and stuff. then opiates came along, and I still remained good and paying bills. then I went to jail for a month, and when I got out my credit card bill was ridiculous with late fees so I stopped paying (it was just a circuit city card, that I bought a t.v. and computer with, and still have both).

and I've also overdrafted many banks and then never paid them back. even cashed two stolen checks for some peeps (I seriously didn't know they were stolen at the time) and that came to a total of $600 that I owed that bank that I never paid, and refuse to, because I never got any of the money. even though the bank doesn't care about that. so yeah, lets just say I cannot get a bank account for a long time.

I also got a car title loan one time (NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER DO THIS!) and ended up losing my '97 GMC jimmy that I loved, had all leather and stuff, very clean . just loved it, and lost it all over some fentanyl patches that I HAD to have.

so again, needless to say, my credit was fucked long before the hospital bills, just something I was wanting to know. I would think it wouldn't go on credit because its a service they can't refuse you, regardless if you can pay or not.
