I can't seem to find oxy as commonly as before this could be because in NC pills a kind of in the lime light above most other drugs. However, I also work 90 hours a week and it could be an excuse but oxy helps me work much easily and put me in all around better mood. Which means I have plenty of money to affor the DOC but since I work so much my time is often off and I miss out. So does anyone know any OTC remedies to keep my body moving and my mind off the pains of sleep deprivation and hard work, often lifting over 100 pounds, that will also be easy to obtain.

Thanks

As I always recommend, stock up on cheap generic loperamide (same as immodium). Depending on the size of your habit, a daily dose of 40-100mg will eliminate all WD symptoms in 2-3 hours, lasting a full 24 hours.

Alternatively, go get yourself some subutex, I hear it's quite easy to get in the USA, you just need to find a doc licensed to prescribe it.

Both choices won't get you high and even block other opiates' effects, but you'll be able to function and gradually taper down, if desired.

90 hours per week!

Is that legal?

As long as you are 18+ there is no limit. However, if you agree to work full time they can't force you to work past your 40hr marker.

And to the OP..You say it makes work easier and what not, well of course! Its an opiate! They make everything in life better until you get hopelessly addicted. Honestly the only thing that I can think of to keep you moving without straight oxy/dope would be suboxone. That will help with cravings as well as make your sickness go away entirely. And for most (including me) gives me energy and allows me to sleep. I'm not laying around all day all lethargic.

suboxone is the only remedy for the opiate roller coaster..but i would advise that you take it with the intention of quitting the oxy. it will ruin your fucking life..trust me on that one. And if you start doing the oxy/sub switch off you will waste your money unless you wait the subs out before using oxy again...it really is a shitty dead end road

It's ok if you change the post.... I read up a little bit and it would seem that poppy head tea is the closest thing .... which of course would contain some codiene i believe naturally ... has anyone tried this tea and if so is it honestly worth the hastle of getting the bulbs, the US seems to wag it's finger of the notion (but of course there are still ways to obtain them) I'm sure because of the possiblity of making other drugs

Stay the fuck away from poppy pod tea. Once you switch to that stuff and are properly addicted, you'll be facing the perhaps worst WD of all opiates, as there's not only codeine present in the pods, but a multitude of other opioid alcaloids as well. The tea works of course, small wonder, you're basically chugging raw opium. Still, the high is not worth the WD, which can easily last 2 weeks, and symptomatically will most likely be way worse than oxy WD.

This is wisdom and truth. In the long run, opiates will destroy the person you're now OP, leaving behind an emotionally wrecked fiend that just has one goal left: getting high. Sure opiates are great at first, but they're a harsh mistress, you have to become their slave sooner or later, and then they'll fuck you proper.

Try the loperamide if you're afraid of WDs, easily obtained, cheap and effective, even for people with large habits. Subutex/Suboxone are great drugs if you're intend on quitting as well, through you should taper down as fast as possible, the long half life of subs can cause a funky 2 week withdrawal as well if you take it long enough. If only used to lessen the WDs from other opiates for a short while though, I find subs to be as close to a magic bullet against addiction as you can get.

So, I suggest getting off the dope train for good. You've had your honeymoon, from now on it'll only go downwards. I've yet to meet the mythical casual opiate user who'll only dose on rare and special occasions, most people (me included) end up as full blown addicts. Don't say we didn't warn you. ;)

Your not chugging raw Opium.

The highest concentration of Opiates in Poppy Pop Tea is Morphine, Codeine and Thebaine. As far as im aware.

Somebody mentioned above that using Opiates make work easier, IME in the medium-long term it just makes work and life a hell of a lot harder!

Well, I feel pretty casual .... but then again I guess if I ask about something that will allow me to abuse more often you'd be right. I only do about 60 mg a week I simply don't have to money to waste on them. I really only do about ten milligrams when my body is ready to quit and it picks me back up for the haul, then puts me to sleep when I need it. I should probably stick to recreational use I suppose. I've read some pretty uninspiring stories about the agonies of opiate WD which I have been lucky enough not to have in over a year of use. Guess I'll just keep my priorities in line.:)

That's good to hear mate, you still seem to be in control, didn't sound like that from your OP. Also, you haven't raised your doses, which is a good sign as well, and you only use to self medicate if needed. However, I'd advise against recreational use, this is when opiates will lure you in. You've tasted heaven, which could quickly turn to hell should you find yourself in a situation that allows you to use more, be it financial or a simple change of mind.

Keeping your priorities straight while using is hard, too hard for most people. Don't believe you're in the clear because you've avoided physical dependence for a year, the time will come when you binge for a month and suddenly the oxy has its hooks buried in your body. Every addict once believed they were casual users and they wouldn't let it escalate, only to be proven utterly wrong.

Obviously, I can't make you quit, nor would I want to, it's your choice after all, but you seem to severely underestimate the addictiveness of opiates. Try to go without for a while, you'll crave for them, if only psychologically. And you've already noticed that opiates are a cure for nearly everything, so please watch out and never use them to get over difficult times, addiction can catch you most easily when you're at your weakest.

Sorry for the preaching, I don't mean to insult or belittle you, just give some honest advice. I hope this doesn't come across wrongly, as I'm the last person who'd deny another to make his or her own choices.
