Whenever I take an opiate, a lot of people can tell by some of the symptoms I display. The people closest to me are obviously the ones to instantly se it, my mother noticing it IMMDIATELY.

The people that can tell know by looking at my eyes and nothing else. The symptoms they say make me look suspicious are obviously the pin point pupils, the slight speak modification like mumbling and most notably by my mother my eyes are glassy.

My mother says it is so obvious that no one wouldn't see it and always assume I am high, yet I have never been stopped for it being accused of recent use and intoxication. I have used all of the visual drops like Visine(every type) and all of the usually over the counter drops and people can still tell and only because of my eyes and the way they look.

Has anyone else had this problem? If you have and have any type of solutions, can you PLEASE reply ASAP as I have an interview tomorrow and my moms says not to go because she thinks they will surely notice I look high at the interview.

Can anyone one recommend an eye drop that will make "glassy" overly wet eyes look normal as well as dilate them so the don't look suspicious. If you do it would be GREATY appreciated. I'm not looking for obvious answers like wear sunglasses, or anything else to cover them up.

Please try to reply ASAP as I am leaving in a few days. any reply will be GREATLY appreciated and rewarded.

Thanks

Opiates pin your pupils. That's why people can tell. Higher doses especially make it obvious and some people are just effected by it more. It also shows more obvious in people with light colored eyes. Like mine are a bright light hazel, so they almost sparkle when I'm high and my tiny pupils are very noticeable. I am always on an opiate though, so people just think that's how I naturally look.

There's nothing you can do about it. Visine and stuff is for red eyes. It won't change your pupil size.

This is just one of those things that comes from using opiates.

I have had this problem in the past with strong opiates too. The glassy look is something that will be hard to fix, but taking something like 60mg of DXM should cause some dilation (in my experience). Higher doses might work as well, but you obviously don't want to go above 100-120 as I found that to be the threshold of psychoactive effects. However, DXM wouldn't hurt at all because it's an NMDA antagonist and should help you with tolerance. If that doesn't work, I would recommend you either
1. Don't get high within 2-4hrs before the interview
2. Use another drug to cause dilation, but you risk causing too much dilation and yet even more problems (as most people seem to notice dilated pupils more than constricted pupils)

EDIT: There are mydriatics, like phenylephrine which is actually used specifically for this purpose. Phenylephrine is the drug used in Sudafed PE (the shit that doesn't work at all as a nasal decongestant) and is non-prescription. If you could find a way to find phenylephrine eye drops (doubt it, but you never know) that would work. Orally it should produce the same effect though, and I find it highly tolerable in high doses (I took an entire box once because I didn't have real sudafed and nothing seemed to happen, but I recommend trying it out first)

Lowering parasympathetic nervous stimulation would also do it so you could try blocking the muscarinic ACh receptors through something with anticholinergic effects like diphenhydramine but this would add to sedation.

I'm interested if anyone knows the actual physiology of what causes the "glassy" eyes. I have no idea about that.

EDIT
TL;DR
Try 60-90mg of DXM, phenylephrine and Benadryl (would add to the sedation though, probably not the best idea) for the pupil constriction. Not much can be done for the glassiness in my experience other than not getting high too soon before the interview although according to the stuff below, try blinking or using an eye drop.

Regarding glassy eyes, I found this:
"Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) can cause many physical and psychological symptoms including glazed eyes.

Taking drugs which affect the central nervous system, and even some medications, can give your eyes a glassy look as you tend to blink less frequently if the drug is actually depressing the nervous system.

Placing a couple of Visine eyedrops in your eyes can take away some of the glazed look fairly quickly."

Also, on Wikipedia:
"The sphincter is innervated by the parasympathetic nervous system; the dilator by the sympathetic nervous system. Sympathetic stimulation of the adrenergic receptors causes the contraction of the radial muscle and subsequent dilation of the pupil. Conversely, parasympathetic stimulation causes contraction of the circular muscle and constriction of the pupil."

So it sounds like it could be caused by the depressant effect it has on the nervous system. It looks like the α1 adrenergic receptor is responsible for pupil dilation/constriction.

Glassy eyes? That is pretty common when you wake up. Might be a result nodding out and just having your eyes closed for an extended amount of time. Say someone boots up and nods out for sometime then they come to and they look like they just woke up. Idk, honestly I really don't associate glassy eyes with an opiate high(maybe associate it with being fucked up on something, not specifically opiates), I only think of the pupil constriction. I'd actually expect someone in withdrawal to have glassy eyes more so than a person who is high, because the withdrawal causes lacrimation.

Alright so you're in look; they do offer phenylephrine in opthalmic preparations that can apparently be acquired OTC. Head to your local drugstore and see if you can't talk to a pharmacist and if they don't have any, ask if they have anything that could serve the same purpose.

BTW, what's my reward?

Yes! I know what eye drops will help you, I had this same problem. The only giveaway that I had been using was my eyes/pinned pupils. Visine totality works a bit but it burned my eyes real bad so I use Opicon-A eye relief eye-drops, they work like magic. Just be careful not to over-due it because you don't want to dilate your pupils too much and then look that your on uppers lol. You will see right on the back of the box either by uses or warnings that it says "May dilate pupils". Or "May enlarge pupils", that's how you'll know you got the right drops. I get mine right at a local stop and shop or walgreens.

Okay I looked for the bottle I have, it is (Bausch+Lomb) Opcon-A eye allergy relief. On the box is says itching+redness under the eye allergy relief. I usually do about 3-4 squirts per eye and it takes about 15 minutes to dilate. Start off with 2 drops per eye at first because I have done too much before and I was Mickey mousing it big time.

Oh and really dxm and Benadryl won't really help if you are really pinned. I tried everything before these drops, including those. If you're lucky it may help slightly after a while (if for some reason you have to use Benadryl I chewed and that seemed to help a TINY bit). And just fyi caffeine helps dilate pupils also, a lot of caffeine. And that works better once you're starting to come down your dose a bit.

Well good luck! I will swear by these drops

I'm a heavy opiate user for many years as well. if you have a job interview, and you're high on heroin, well.... why don't you try real hard to not be fucked up on it at the time of your interview. not trying to be a smartass at all here, I'm a dope fiend too. however, if I really wanted to nail that job, I'd just stay clean for a little while, no matter how hard it may be. Good luck to you!!
