Hello,
<I dont> have too much knowledge in this area... But <I> needs help. <I have> been using dilaudid intravenously for 5 months. Never more than 16mg a day. <I Haven't> had a shot since yesterday at 4:30pm. <I> started to feel withdrawal symptoms at 3:00am and took a 1 mg piece of suboxone. <I am> still feeling ok. It's 7:00pm now. <I> feels pretty agitated. But no withdrawal symptoms. <I am> keeping this a total secret b/c swims entire habit was secret. <I> just wondering how long this will last? <I don't > have a full suboxone strip. Only 2 pieces left.... So <I am> wondering if she'll still be sick in 2 days. <I> just needs help. <I want> wants to get off this stuff.

Hey bella.. Welcome to Blue Light=D and congratulations on determining to get off the opiates and asking for help.

I went ahead and edited your post as we don't use swim on blue light and we dont condone animal abuse so we prefer that posters not tell us about how their pet giraffe takes drugs, or any such ploy. The reason we don't use it here is that it provides no protection from prosecution and makes things hard to read. Please take a gander at the >BLUA< when you get a chance as it will provide for a better exspierince on BL.

If you give exactly how much suboxone you plan on taking and the amount and time of the last dose you will take I can give you a relly good approximation of how long you will likely be in acute withdrawal.. also we can give you really good recommendations for non opiat medications that will make this process allot easier. Also how many times a day were you shooting up and what were the withdrawal symptoms like when you woke up at three am when you took the sub?

You are able to do this and you will<3

HL of IV hydromorphone the mean half-life of elimination was 2.64 ± 0.88 hours

Neversickanymore..can you link me to one of your threads/posts that has that info I have frequently seen you post for comfort meds for opiate/opiooid withdrawals? (Sorry to go a little off topic)..or maybe post them here? I was trying to direct someone to it the other day and was having a little trouble finding it..

Anything for you missmeyet=D

The medications I would explore the use of for detox would be:

>Clonidine< DOSED EVER FOUR HOURS..

one of either
>NEURONTIN< >HERE< >HERE<
OR >Lyrica<

>A BENZO BUT JUST AT NIGHT<
>a nsaid<
>melatonin<
tylenol

The acute withdrawal are what everyone just getting clean focuses on but in reality that is the easy part so here are some links about addressing the addiction.
