Me and my girlfriend have been up for two days on Meth that we had and we took Dilaudid 9 hours ago but we are both in serious pain with no sleep in sight and all there is to be had is Suboxone, would it be alright for us to IV 1mg of sub with everything we have done.

Probably?

Are you opiate dependent?

It's likely the hydromorphone is fully out of your system, but have you been taking any other long-lasting opiates? Methadone, heroin, etc?

If you normally don't do hydromorphone or longer lasting opiates, buprenorphine should be all right to use.

I hope you and your girlfriend had a safe and fun time with meth, please try to avoid a habit with it. :)

I've used IV Dilaudid daily since I was 14 im almost 21 now so I've got a dependency I always keep subs just incase I can't find Dilaudid but I usually wait 24 hours after my last dose of Dilaudid to do the Suboxone but I've been up way to long and am hurting way to bad. It's been 11 hours since my last dose and it was less then 2mg.. I didn't want to do the Suboxone till I got some advice ha didn't want to make things worse!

And it's been a wild ride But I think I'll stick to the pain meds lol I'd rather nod off then tweak this long again! Thanks for the response!

But see the crazy thing is it wasn't even a binge! We did a G between the two of us it was just fire my girl whose drug of choice use to be ICE is asleep now but I'm coming down hard and every bone in my body Is killing me I have 8mg of Sub. I just didn't want to do to much.. Thanks for the reply!

Are you out of your mind, asking strangers on a forum what type, and dosage of drug you should take?

I heard NO ONE ask your weight, your history of drug use, allergies... Nothing.

MY advice? Go get professional help. You don't need strangers telling you, 'It probalee OK".

Get your girl, and check in.

I just needed to know if the Suboxone would throw me into withdrawals so quick after the Dilaudid I know perfectly well what I can handle and what my limits are I'm not proud of it one bit but I do know my limits and what I can and can't take.

It is a very very bad idea to take subuxone or subutex within 24 hours of opiate use.

It is basically like an exorcism, so if you are hurting now.

For some people it can take longer.

I suppose how long you used and whether or not you are opiate dependent are factors.

I guess one would be is whether or not you are already taking suboxone and have taken it within the last couple days.

There is so much information on this so use the search engine please if you really are up to doing something this stupid.

Just wait a bit so you don't have horrific precipitated withdrawal. PWD's are horrible. If you are in pain take a fucking tylenol and wait the appropiate time period. Since you have a serious opiate habit, you put yourself in this boat.

I really don't feel sorry for you having to go 9 whole hours without opiate usage, but I would feel pretty damn sorry for you if you take suboxone or subutex and throw yourself into PWD's on a speed comedown. Injecting it will make it even worse.

So I really play it safe than sorry because PWD's cause severe dehydration and I am guessing you are already dehydrated and the last thing you need is full scale opiate withdrawal.

Yeah you are right I guess it doesn't matter if I only do 1mg of the Suboxone and I do Suboxone maybe once a month and I had hardly any Dilaudid today l had less then 2 mg and my normal dose just SINGLE dose is 12mg in all I usually do 24-36mg a day and today I've had less then 2mg and on top of that I fell off a tractor at work and threw my back out so yeah the speed come down plus back pain is a little bit more cost consuming then a "fucking Tylenol"

What I'm feeling IS border line full blown withdrawal that's why i went through the trouble to make a blue light to ask the question I didn't want to risk feeling worse

And btw I did the search engine forever before I asked there was nothing with a situation like I was is

So nothing about suboxone came up when you tried the google blue light thing at the top?

Well as far as precipitated wd's go I told you what I know about them and I have had then 3 or 4 times.

It doesn't matter what your last dose was so much as when you took it. Also 1mg is enough to give you pwd's.

I am sure it has been 24 hours now. Suboxone doesn't help with pain so much as WD ime.

Look if you want to take suboxone I suggest waiting 24 hours from your last opiate dose.

But by all means do whatever you want. I answered your question. I am sorry you can't score any pills but that is not my problem.

Also as far as suboxone and the length of time a person should wait before induction is another factor I can't control.

It is science. I am not going to recommend what goes against both medical fact and what I know first hand. I am sorry if me trying to help you avoid pwd's has you upset. So I answered your question.

If you are heavily opiate dependent you will most likely experience precipitated withdrawal if you do not wait 24 hours from your last opiate dose. I know 2 mgs is not much dilaudid to you or me but as far as the chemical reaction that will most likely occur from not heeding my advice will beg to differ.

I am on my phone so I don't have the link to the info about suboxone on here but try opiophile as they have an excellent suboxone guide.

I don't want you to feel worse despite the fact I get the feeling you did not appreciate my advice. Getting on suboxone is just really fucking unpleasant and it gets horrific if you take it too soon.
