So i've never really grown anything, but im getting probably a dozen or so clones that are all probably close to a foot tall. Do I just leave them in big pots outside, or should I go dig some holes and plant them in them? And if I put them in holes im assuming I dont wanna just use the dirt I dig up to plant them in? Do I fill the holes with any special type of soil I can buy?

Assuming I dont fuck them up and they actually grow how do I know when they are ready to be chopped down? Basically just any basic tips anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated! I know the basic questions probably make it look like im retarded but weed just never has been my drug and i;'ve never really grown anything. Thanks alot for any help anyone can give me.

I've read quides online but they all are pages and pages of info about very exact stuff certain temperatures this and that I just want the basic info I need to grow these. Thanks!

If you read through this thread you'll find everything for the basics, although this grow was done indoors. You can disregard anything pertains to the indoors, but there are tips on soil, nutrients, and everything else you'll want to know.

A more specific answer to your transplanting question...
I see you are from New Brunswick, where the soil is not really the best on the planet. I would suggest buying some large pots or buckets, 5 gallons or larger. If you use buckets, cut holes for drainage. If you're in a rainy micro climate, use one of the organic soil mixes in the thread above, and you won't need to worry about watering or much nutrients (fertilizer).

Good luck. Do your reading...

yeah definitely buckets, like 5 gallon with a bunch of holes drilled in the bottom and a layer of like gravel or something for drainage and a good organic soil mix and some organic nutrients (Alaska, you can get them at lowes I think).
This is the famous 'Erowid: indoors from seed to harvest grow guide' a good basic groing 101 without a whole ton of technical stuff. Most of what you read can be applied to the outdoors as well, although you are going to have to be on top of pests and shit. Check out the rest of the site also, there are like 350 other grow guides.

Finally, check out icmag forums on growing or growkind.com. Rollitup is alright but there is allot of misinformation floating around on that site.

do the clones already have roots? or are you going to have to do the process of cloning yourself? i have never had anyluck cloning outdoors. its more of an indoor thing

gonna get back on this when sober but for the record NB outdoor is hands-down the BEST herb i have ever had, consistently.. that shit impresses the hell out of me and i've tried outdoor from some mad fertile lands worldwide so i don't speak on this matter entirely ignorantly
