Need good pro marijuana documentation

In my head less and less.
My grandmother is very against pot. She came up in the reefer madness days, so its no wonder why. Im just now getting back to texas from california. I was explaining to her how I have a medical card and all and even saw a doctor to get it. She was saying "it was one of those shady doctors wasn't it?" and pretty much just continuing to show her distaste for marijuana. It really gets under my skin, especially since everything she thinks or knows about it is wrong.

I need a pro marijuana document, and a GOOD one, to show her. One that will totally make her mouth drop and leave her speechless. I know there are many out there because NOTHING is wrong with marijuana and the only reason it is illegal is because of the pharm industry but thats another story!

If you want a honest, personalized answer:

Good luck. Some people, particularly older people who fell for that government propaganda, simply won't change their minds no matter what you tell them or what facts you present. Google is your friend. There are plenty of fine sites listed in the thread I linked (still directly below this one), or you could try NORML, or even the DEA's website. There is a lot of good unbiased and fair data out there, but some people will not be swayed from their views no matter the evidence, and that's just the way the world turns sometimes.

If you don't mind my asking, what is your MMJ scripted for? Is she right when she guessed "one of those" doctors are giving it to you?

If not, wouldn't a condition in which MMJ really relieved negative symptoms instead of opiate treatment be enough to satisfy those with a clear head? The two are on completely different spectrums of drug dependency. If she is unwilling to see the way capitalism works and how the pharm companies (among many others) are clearly running, then you should just be content knowing that you do have your MMJ card. Some people will refuse to be educated even if it's right in front of them, and this sounds like the case [sadly].

If not, refer to the thread I linked, and take a peek at the front page of CD if you won't at least use the search engine (there are several threads exactly like this one here).

and fyi: weed is still a drug... there is plenty wrong with it if misused and I've seen it ruin a lot of good people's drive and ambition, causing them to lose jobs, significant others, or fail out of school... so when you say there is *nothing* wrong with it, you are being just as biased as she is.
