Need College Research Topic Help

Anyone interested in help I need: a very specific topic with a decent amount of information.

I originally started with, "Current U.S. strategy in Afghanistan and its effectiveness in producing a successful outcome". (Still needs to be more specific)

I am possibly deviating from this in favor of doing a topic on some aspect of drugs (ie methadone clinics etc) Any suggestions?
