Opioids Need an ID and have some questions.

Hey yall,

Been lurking on here for awhile, and finally decided to register and post.

So I recently came to acquire a bag of small white pills and were told that they were strong painkillers. They have a small cursive looking letter "v" on one side, and the numbers 48 and 10 on the other side. I got them for free from a friend who said he got a bunch and was feeling generous so I'm not too sure what the hell these are. If someone could tell me what these are and how many to take, that'd be great - I don't wanna OD on this shit.

Second off, if they are for real painkillers would I screw up my nose if I crushed and snorted these?

^^^^ agreed yer looking for answers that we cant tell,,on top of that never ever snort a pill that you have no idea of what they are.
I personaly have never come across painkillers that sound like what yer discribing,,didnt the dude tell you what they were ???
the only thing i can think off that ive had are demeral that sound familiar but they are hard coated and small,but you should do a search as suggested we dont try and identafy pills or of the like on here...
P.S. if they were demerals dont snort just swallow no more than 3 ..i shouldnt even have said that ..
 
Well my own pain meds are shitty. I had a titanium screw drilled into my upper jaw 2 days ago for a tooth implant and my dentist prescribed some codeine, and that shit does not work at all. I tried telling him that but he just shrugged and told me that I'm shit outta luck. That's when my friend said he could help and got me these. I don't see how I'm trying to source drugs or anything, I've already got these and was curious about whether they'd work and how not to fuck myself up with them.

I mentioned snorting because I heard that some painkillers work faster if you snort them rather than eat them.

^^^ not sayin yer tryin to source or anything .its just why didnt the dude tell you what they were and as i stated i have had all sorts and the closest thing i could come up with is demeral which are good for pain but dont take more than 3 at a time and i will say again that demerals are hard coated ,,so if yer pills are small round and hard coated thats a chance that they are dems...so take 3 ...dont ever snorte them though.not many pills can be snorted with good effects period....
 
I asked, he said that he got them from a "reliable source" and that he was pretty sure that they were good quality painkillers.

I was hoping someone on BL was a bit more knowledgeable and could tell me exactly what these were and possibly how much to take. If I can find out what these are, I could also do a little searching of my own to find out how much is an appropriate dose.

I thought about googling, but I've heard bad things about people googling drug info and getting malicious disinformation, so I'm a little leery about that.
 
Well if it is 5mg oxycodone as google suggests, then take 1 or 2. Oxycodone is stronger than vicodin mg for mg, if that gives you an idea of what you have.

And do not snort them.
 
As others have said, we can't do pill IDs here. It's a safety and liability things.

To the people who responded - please don't go ahead and try to ID pills in these types of threads. Just refer the poster to google or resources such as this
