I tripped bad off weed about a week and i didn't feel like myself for about 4 days and was really spacey and couldn't eat anything. It got better then i think i had and anxiety attack in school. Now i see visual snow, eyes are sensitive to light and things leave traces behind them. I feel alot better then the first few days and i feel like myself again but the visuals are still the same. Any advice? Do i have hppd or will this go away?

This sounds like a really extreme reaction to weed mate. I stopped smoking ten years ago because it was making me an anti-social paranoid maniac! As for HPPD, I'm intrigued by this disorder. I've done a lot of acid in my time and haven't got. The chances of getting it form weed I imagine are extremely small (although I'm no expert, hopefully somone will be better placed to help).
But unfortunately weed and anxiety attacks go hand in hand hence why I stopped. Feel for you mate, that doesn't sound fun at all. If it persists go and see a doctor because I've never heard of weed doing anything like that (I knoe someone who has cannabis pyschosis and the poor guy is on constant meds and can barely function). Maybe it's time to knock weed on the head, I gave up when I was 19 as it was ruining my social life. Anyway, good luck, sorry I couldn't be more help. I think it will go away though so don't fret

Stay clean off everything for a while and see how you feel. You need to give your brain a chance to clear.<3

How much did you have?

Sounds like your body is very sensitive to weed (i.e. you might be a slow metabolizer), which means you don't need much in one go.

Tracers though... that's pretty unusual to have long after smoking weed.

Are you sure it was herb, and not those cannabinoid RCs? I've never used those but friends of mine who have said how they're very psychedelic, and some can be a lot more intense than just very high grade herb.

Either way avoid all drugs for the time being, eat right, get enough sleep, and start to do cardio exercise it will calm you down even if it's just taking a walk daily.

Yes what you're describing will go away but it will take some time.

I would not take xanax or any other benzos. I've never taken them and I hear that they're highly addictive. Just get into meditation, cardio exercise, and practice breathing exercises and you will calm down. These are more safe than benzos. They may or may not work instantly for you, or you might get results over time from doing them.

If it keeps bothering you, make sure to see a doctor.
Weed can be very powerful for some. My friend recently had a reaction like yours, except he saw aliens in spaceships and thought the government was poisoning the food -.-
Please don't wait to get it checked out. And be very wary of this drug in the future!

The weed may have been treated with something, who knows? You say this happened last week and still feeling bad effects.
Hope you get better soon. Get some medical attention if this continues. <3

Ive been smoking weed for years but this only happened from this one time. Im gonna wait it out but it is distracting me from school. Im heard xanex can eliminate some of theese disorders, ill try that. Any other suggestions?

I'll second the suggestion I made earlier--just stay off everything for a while and give your brain and the rest of your body a rest.

yea bro, although THC could cause a MUCH lighter episode kind of like that you described, i really dout it... sounds like some "wet", in texas it refers to marijuana laced with PCP or embalming fluid. i was given this once and had very similar effects... dont go to that guy anymore and i would probably take a break from substances to gather yourself, when i was tricked with this i wasn't right for a week... but you will be ok.

NO xanex

Lay off all substances for a while, give your brain time to recoup. If that was a one off, i personally would not smoke weed again. If you smoke semi regularly, make sure to check with others who smoked the same shit to see if they've had similar reactions (i.e. weed was laced).

That description is really fucking scary though for smoking pot, even if it was laced, that sounds extreme. It took me a couple years of smoking weed every day to find out that i was Bipolar and that when i smoke pot it's a lot different than when the other 4 people i'm with who all seem to handle it well and normal do.

You could have some underlying unique brain chemistry, the weed could be laced. In any event, what you experienced isn't right, i'd lay off.

Im all good now just a constant headache right now, and i see floaters when i look for them. I think this will go away in a little bit because there decreasing. Im not smoking for good right maybe in a year or two if the floaters go away. And it wasn't laced i did a drug test next day. And everyone else that smoked this didn't happen besides one other person. I guess badly cured bud can do this? Any advice on getting theese floaters away

^because many people here can tell you their addiction stories beginning with xanax, for one. I did a lot of psychedelics when I was younger and I saw trails for years; I felt like the best thing I could do was to clear my body of chemicals. I will still occasionally have that happen and that is after 40 years! To tell you the truth, I don't mind them and find them to be visually interesting.

Mine are very minor now and im greatful. But yes they can be interesting. Thanks for the help everyone ill let you know if i fully recover! This headache is very frustrating though
