We're not really here to recommend drugs or tell you what to ask your doctor for. The best thing to do would be to explain everything to your doctor and ask what he/she suggests. Tell them all the different drugs you have tried and what worked or didn't work for you and why. Tell them in detail about your symptoms and the effects you get from your current drug. Consider non-drug therapies to augment your treatment. Different drugs work best for different people. If your doctor is clueless about what treatments to try then try a different doctor. Many people don't find benzos to be effective for chronic anxiety when taken daily long-term and you get a nasty physical dependence. For acute anxiety (panic attacks) they should be taken very sparingly and only as needed. We can't tell you which benzo is going to work best for you personally or if in fact benzos are even the best option for you. Many people do not feel benzos are the best option for long-term anxiety and do not feel the risk of side effects, dependence etc are worth the temporary rewards. Personally I would highly recommend trying to get at the root of your anxiety and reduce it so you can get to a point where you rarely need drugs - but I know that takes a huge amount of time and effort.
We also have no idea what your doctor is most likely to prescribe. Every doctor and region is different. It has been my experience that in BC doctors are generally quite reluctant to prescribe benzos long-term, but it completely depends on your doctor and your situation. We would only be speculating.
I'm going to close this and I don't think it really fits with our guidelines, but please feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
