Just thought i'd give my 2 cents on one of the new products in the RC market.

NEB - N-ethylbuphedrone
2-(ethylamino)-1-phenylbutan-1-one

I received one gram of NEB today. Have to admit i was a bit surprised to the overall buzz. Gentle body/mental stimulation, increased attentiveness and sense of well-being. However, if you dose all day till you're out, all the stimulating effects catch up all at once a few hours later and leaves you shell-shocked with no idea what to do with yourself.d to compare this to anything it'd be 4-FMC or cocaine (mildly). To the "Meph Kids" out there, no this is not a fair (or even slightly close) substitute for Mephedrone (4-MMC).
After a 2mg allergy test, i proceeded with a 25mg intranasal bump. It had a very faint burn and drip one would expect from a Buphedrone (α-methylamino-butyrophenone) analogue. The kicked in after about 7 minutes. The hint of euphoria wears off after about 20-30 minutes and you're left with a lingering stimulation that isn't at all unpleasant or intrusive.

I would advise one to be weary with dosing, i noticed this behaves much in the same way as Buphedrone with its profile. You keep re-dosing every half hour or so (a 20mg bump here and there) throughout the day till you're out, before you know it all the stimulating effects catch up all at once and leaves you shell-shocked with no idea what to do with yourself. So i'd definitely be weary of compulsive re-dosing as this has a definite more-ish profile to it. You'll pay the price of a "state of stimulated confusion" if you don't pace yourself.

Anecdotal information on IV ROA: At 30mg, plants found it had a slight burn on plunge which faded immediately, fiendish nature is severely diminished, definitely a much "cleaner" stimulation. Euphoria just kind of zaps in and out within a blink of an eye after injection.

Pros:
-Subtle "Natural" Physical Stimulation and Buzz somewhat reminiscent of cocaines stimulation.
-Uplifting Mentally/Emotionally also keen to cocaine, and somewhat akin to MDPV. Definitely a 4-FMC vibe there.
-Surprisingly empathetic, sociable, overall out-going & friendly compound.
-No groggy fatigue after plateau
-No crazy cardiovascular/blood pressure problems!

Cons:
-Intranasal ROA proved very more-ish
-Euphoria has a very low ceiling-effect (You'll never get where you want to be)
-Long-lasting stimulation (>8hours). As with most 'drones (excluding 4-MMC), the norepinephrine to dopamine activity ratio is way out of whack.
-Comedown leaves you apathetic, anti-social and rather indifferent. No where near as bad as MDPV though.
-Anorexia. May be good for some but i don't need to lose any more weight. :mrgreen:

Bottomline:
if you're looking for a gentle stimulant that can be dose-forgiving that has a tinge of entactogen qualities this may be for you. It's not as ruggedly forceful as 4-FA/4-FMP's body-mind energy and the duration isn't quite as long. I'll definitely be getting a little bit more, but only if the price is right. Be assured, it WILL NOT blow your mind to any degree.

Hope this helped some others that have gotten a sample or were deciding whether or not to obtain this compound.

Interesting, thanks for the report. So is it better than buphedrone itself?

Also, vendors chose strange name for this chemical. I am no chemist, but I think it can't be called N-ethylbuphedrone.
 
Please report back on/after the comedown.

I'm interested in this compound, but not if it has a nasty comedown like 4-mmc, 3-fmc, 4-fmc, etc...
 
I love how you mention you will never get to where you want to be as that sums up this chem to me. Only a few entactogens get you where you want to be and this doesn't look like one of them. Nice report :)
 
^^True but that first peak from a drone experience is one for the record books. I couldn't believe that I was peaking so hard...rushes of euphoria flowing through my entire body without the mind fuck of MDMA. Then it turns into a 24 hour event and you see the downside to its use.
 
Posted this in another thread, but thought swim would put it here too.

So SWIM got some NEB recently, thought he'd do a little write-up on it. In this class of drugs, SWIMs tried mephedrone, pentedrone, MDPV and methiopropamine. So far compared to the others, NEB doses of 35mg insufflated give a mild euphoria, significant stimulation, less adrenal effects then MDPV and a much longer duration of action. Euphoria is very short lived (perhaps 5-10 minutes), but still longer than methiopropamine (which just seems to not have much euphoria at all, but is clean feeling at least.

Swims biggest issue with NEB is the excess stimulation that seems to actually build even hours after dosing, making swim feel very jittery and cracky. Similar to aftereffects of meph and MDPV, but it seems to be the most notable effect of NEB. It certainly is not an effective replacement for your generic "bath salt" mixes (mdpv, meph), and seems to have more downsides, and much, much less euphoria. On the other hand, pentedrone is much more similar to meph, and Swim strongly prefer it to NEB. Plus, NEB burns a bit (not nearly as bad as methiopropamine), while pentedrone actually numbs up the nasal passages (similarly, but less strong than cocaine).

SWIM really can't recommend NEB unless they really just have to try every drone-like stim. If SWIY really wants to recapture some of the magic of mephedrone, pentedrone seems to be a better (although still not nearly as euphoric) substitute. Also, methiopropamine just seems to be pointless to me, seems as if caffeine has more euphoria and hell, coffee tastes good at least (oh, and methipropamine vaporized tastes like burning hell). SWIM still hasn't tried buphedrone, 4-FA or a-PPP, so I can't compare it to them. SWIM much prefers amphetamine salts to either of these though.

PS: if you have trouble with your heart rate going up, the NEB has much less of a heart rate/blood pressure effect. The same cannot be said about pentedrone, which does strongly raise your heart rate. By the way, Cface has a perfect description of the effects of NEB, so thanks for that dude.
 
if your into amphetamines, give 2-FA and/or 2-FMA a try... 3-FA ain't bad too. No serotonin (or very very little if any at all) from these so they are pure stims, but the 2's have a background calming effect i dont know where that comes from or how... but its smoother than oral meth taken as an ADD med.

Some people like 10% react weird to 2-fma and much prefer 2-FA. Not sure why... metabolism maybe. 2-FA is like dextroamphetamine with even less side effects but has a ceiling effect (i.e. you cant get too high, do 50mg oral... do 100mg more and nothing happens..til your coming down). 2-FMA is like meth-lite, smooooth as a baby's ass, no jitters, anti-anxiety, its better than the classics IMO (when we are talking about usefulness, at work/school).
 
I'm gonna receive 1g of n-ethyl buphedrone this friday (maybe thursday but more likely fri) from my fav vendor I 100% trust... I'm curious, I have very little tolerance to stims now so I hope it scores at least in one typical stims effect.. haven't trued buphedrone but heard from a friend this is actually stronger than buphedrone. It should be a pretty clean stim, with little real euphoria, just a comfortable speeded feeling.

In every case seems to be very rare among vendors. That probably means sometin :|
 
Has anyone tried dosing orally? I prefer to take stuff via gel-cap only. Any recommendations?
