NBOMe leg and pain brought back by Ketamine?

(leg and HAND pain)

about 3 weeks ago I got some strong pain in my left leg and left hand that faded to numbness, after taking 25i-NBOMe, which I had taken a few times before. I assumed this was either psychosomatic, or due to vasoconstriction. either way, i stopped taking it for this reason, among others.

now, about a week ago i had a small bump, ~50mg of ketamine, (something i've had a slight habit with before, although i've been off it for at least 2 months), and the exact pain came back almost instantly, and then faded to numbness like before, again just localised in my left leg and hand.

i unsurprisingly went to the doctor, was pretty scared, and they took my pulses all over my leg and arm, and blood pressure, multiple times, and an ECG, and everything was perfect except for slight ECG irregularities that went away when i tried to calm myself down (i.e. just anxiety).
the numbness still seems to linger, even after a week since the ketamine.. it seems to be made worse by lying down, such as when i'm going to sleep, and i've taken to sleeping only on my right side as it is so unnerving..

I managed to find another person experiencing a similar thing (localised pain / numbness lingering after NBOMe, and in this case MXE), on a certain imageboard, although this doesn't really help me..

should i be worried?

well I had a bunch of tabs with supposedly 1200µgs on it, and also some 25c-NBOMe tabs with 800µg, i took 1 tab usually, and sometimes 2, and once i took 3 tabs. i only started this pain after taking a 1 tab of I, about 2 weeks after the previous dose.

hi, just as an update, about a month it's been since my last bump of Ketamine, had a 50mg bump and felt the same pain and numbness localised in my leg and arm.

I had taken aspirin prior for a few days to reduce chance of blood clot if this was what the problem was, yet seemingly made no difference, leading me to think some sort of neuropathy is the problem.

is it likely/possible for nerve damage to manifest with heavy NBOMe usage? even a couple months after last use?
and have no idea why ketamine brings back this exact feeling, where alcohol, weed, mdma and ritalin don't.

It reminds me of weird effects ketamine can have on reviving sensations from the past. For example if I travelled by train and when at home took ketamine I physically felt like I was on the train again.
I think that psychedelics and dissociatives can bring to the surface what 'affected' us in the past because we take a while to process experiences and memories that made an impact on us. Threats, ailments, things that happened before we don't want happening again... we try to learn from those, we dream about it, we ruminate...
I think the ketamine stirred that up again.

If you got nerve or vascular damage I would have expected you to be bothered by lingering pains and cramps, for example when exercising or taking ritalin. I don't think ketamine is hard on the cardiovascular system.
However ketamine does have strange neurological effects, some of which beneficial. I can't be sure of what it would do to neuropathic pain. Theoretically it should block it. So that doesn't add up...

I don't want to be flamed for this. Just trying to add some food for thought.

Lots of energy intuitive people, along with beliefs in Chi/Acupuncture, etc. claim that certain parts of your body will manifest symptoms for certain psychological stresses. Lower back pain for financial stress, etc.

I only mention this because there's a certain part of me that holds faith in the idea, seeing as my mother has been a financial shit-head since her marriage, and has has her "back go out" too many times to count since then. Along with my father having his "go out" (believe me, as a young person, I don't even know what this implies) at the beginning of both of our last two VERY expensive vacations.

:?

interesting you say that, I actually had an acupressure session while I was in hong kong and thailand over the past month, which helped in my opinion, although this may be placebo etc.
It's possible that this is a completely anxiety related problem, as I always get very nervous now taking K, because of this problem.
However this doesn't explain why it happened the first time with K, as it was completely unexpected.

I otherwise feel completely fine, I don't think this would occur due to any kidney or liver problems, which may have been caused by fairly excessive poly drug use, but I'm no doctor.

HEYYYY DUUUDE!!!

im that guy !!! im that guy form that certain imageboard!!! the one who had this same issue but used mxe! i just wanted to update tht i have improved, and i still quite cant pin down exactly what the problem is man, but its getting better! one thing i did was slow down my breathing (pranayama ) and i would send blood to my leg by focusing on it. that helped, and when you said the aspirin didnt help, i mean its more of a longer term kinda thing, but now i use it before everytime i trip, i still take nbome, but i regrett my previous stubburness and carelesness....i realized though that...well since your saying the doctor saw nothing wrong...well thatss wierd, i havent gone to a doctor yet, i have no health insurance, but your results just kinda support what i had in mind...i dont think its a 100% physical thing, i think its part physical and part well...idk what to call it, mental, involving your chi and all...like it says, we are recipe of body and light, i think they manifest in eachother. nbome is a massive vasoconstrictor, and also its a pretty crazy trip at high doses, like pretty intense and stimulating...i think its a mix of physical and like another poster said could also be mental or chi or whatever youd like to call it (the word spiritual rings too many uneccesary bells i think) so yeah, i tried slowing my breathing and like well it does help...atleast for me. idk bout you but i feel like it has ALOT to do with anxiety, and like its permanently vasoconstricted. my right leg always feels very cold, its the one that got affected by this, and not only that but also my heart i feel like something is pushing up against it.
i still wouldnt totally dismiss the idea of a blood clot. aspirin doesnt actually break down a blood clot, it just prevents them, so it only helps a little while your body breaks it down.
my leg is always cold, sometimes when i heat it up the pins and needles go away. drugs like benzos, alcohol, meth, opiates, BUT drugs like weed, psychedelics, and dissociatives (well deliriants too) make it come back!

so well we all know about the chakras and stuff, but ive always been a little skeptical about the 7 chakra system. however recently i read something in an esoteric buddhist kinda thing that a legit tibettan monk explained that that 7 chakra system is highly misconceptualized by newage beliefs. umm i think blood and chi are actually connected, i feel like nbome gets you so " mental" and ungrounded i think and anxiety that it did end up blocking chakras as they say but in the leg or arm or whatever which could potentially manifest as a blood clot?

i know how CRAZY tht must all sound, but after months and months you start to go crazy that doctors and stuff cant help you! OP you feel me on this one? i think its related to our chi/chakras, and try taking downers sometimes they kinda help, try and get grounded, slow your breathing and meditate on the " lower chakras" particularly the lowest chakra, and try and feel the blood flow to the area and the energy flow to the areas that are numb or in pain.

message me or something man as wierd as it may sound im highly interested and someone " relieved" that someone else has experienced this.

peace nd love
