BL,

I'm confused about complexing 25xNBOMe, let's say Billy has 25b-NBOMe he isn't able to dissolve it in any liquid and drop it on to blotters because it's not complexed?

I have read several threads but i can't seem to understand the whole complexing situation.

Information and such is highly appreciated!

Thanks, HST.

i saw blotters of 25c but there were not evenly dose...i would also apreciate if someone could give intelligent answer to your '' complexed '' situation.

Billy needs to do more research. If Billy isn't able to dissolve his 25B-NBOMe in water, then Billy has the freebase, and Billy should e.g. boil it with vinegar to make an easily absorbed salt. But Billy should know that when ordering from his chemical supplier! I bet if Billy had acetone the freebase would dissolve nicely.

These "complexes" you speak of are hydroxypropylcyclodextrin (essentialy starch) globs mixed with the drug-salt, that allow more effective oral membrane transport. Others use Tween (polysorbate) to make micelles. In theory you can use dish soap.

Billy should consult a basic chemistry book. Base plus acid plus a bit of energy = salt. Also Billy should get his Broca's area checked out because he's talking in the third person all the time!

Sekio,

I have checked out Billy's broca's area and flipped the switch!
Thanks for your fast and informative answer, i have found out that it isn't free base, it's HCL. I assume HCL is better because you don't have to convert it Freebase --> HCL. (correct me if i'm wrong) .

HST

HCl is the water soluble hydrochloride salt.

Are you applying the needed energy (i.e. heat) to dissolve the compound? Even the HCl salts are not very sol. in water, that is, they will not immediately dissolve.
